Hi new to using mods. I downloaded the final vanilla version, absolutely brilliant but found a spelling mistake. When playing as Scotland I noticed that Inverness comes up as Iverness.

I have warlords 2.08! I downloaded CIV GOLD for Warlord..... and I put it in Warlords/mods... but when I start this mod.. there is a bug.. there are no name.. there is only an empty window.... ( So I am not able to see what to do...) this problem is also with new game.. there are civilizations with no name.. and other..... what can I do?
I use italian version... ant probably in this the real problem.... there is no possibility yo use it with Italian.??

It's not yet fully compatible with version 2.08. A compatible version will be available at the end of the month *fingers crossed*.

But you're right - the problem is the language. After 1.6. (I believe) English mods no longer work properly with foreign language versions. This *may* be fixed in the next Gold version, though.

I finally got the fix for Albania for CIV Gold. Never mind the Llogor, it will be replaced by another building which is more relevant, the Kuvend. I'll give you the details once I make an updated release after I write the civilopedia entry.

I've been playing with the idea of adding Mexico. We'll see what happens. I don't see a 5.0 coming unless there is another expansion pack.

Tuetonic Knights will not likely be added, but the Malagasy have been in since 2.0.

also question, i want to download this but i want to download another polish civ and i don't want the polish civ from civ gold, is that possible to do?

The easiest thing to do would be to edit the Gold Polish civ and change it to the one you want.

You should know that I'm planning to change both Polish leaderheads (same leaders, new artwork).

good i think the Casimir looks creepy. and Sobieski looks nothing like how he should look. Ask Martinus for his Polish civ, it's alot better then the polish in this. Atleast the Leaderheads.

This version is based on Martinus' civ. The new leaderheads were done by liderzy. You can find them in the downloads section.

The Civ3 Gold interface is not compatible with German text either (it is not displayed). Is there any way how I can fix this? Maybe it is just a question of scaling. If sb. could tell me where I could scale down the text of the main menu...I'd like to try this

Unfortunately for 3.0 you will need to use the English install. To be honest, I'm not even sure how to remedy this (it wasn't a problem until patch 1.61).

But version 4.0 *should* work in all language versions.
