Civ Hour I: MP Lobby

shulgi, osbiath, we'll continue the game today at 16.30 GMT+2. Others: You can join to Civ Hour II when i post it :)

Good playing with you guys again. I don't think the AIs can be defeated tomorrow unfortunately. I just got to engineering and plan to build up an army for Charlemagne since he's so far from you guys. I could use a health resource. I don't think I have pigs, sheep and maybe not cow. I would guess that I could offer something decent in turn. Osbiath are you at all close to guilds? The distance between you and Gilgamesh is a bit long. Robert could focus on melee and siege? Or we could go for a peaceful/tech round. Ideas?

Sorry for those waiting, I'm sure we'll get through this pretty soon. Me - De Gaulle, Robert - Frederick, Osbiath - Viking (chosen by AI)

Peaceful round is ok to me but it just won't work... Gilgamesh wants Kish back for peace. He won't get. Not without fighting with me. He must be conquered or vassalled. Maybe Osbiath can vassal him? Good idea?

Justin, Is 4:30 pm (GMT+2) your regular playtime? Because it is, like, 10:30 pm in here and I don't usually sleep that late.

As far as tech goes, with the ai playing my first hour, and the terrible land I have, I have been playing catch up this entire game. I am getting close to engineering myself, but not to guilds.

As for the war, I just jumped in to give you a hand. I do not have a strong enough of a force to take him out. My suggestion, give him his city, and take some time to build a real army.

Sounds interesting, so what were your settings this time (I only read pangea but what about map size, number of players and game speed) and will they be the same for the 2nd game?

@Jarry: Oh no!! I really don't know what to do... You live in far-east, I live in Europe and Others live in U.S. WHAT TO DO?? @Sueff: You are welcome in next game. Settings wont be the same. This time they were: Tiny pangaea for 6 players (3 Humans), no human wars.

Round two will, unfortunately, not be up for two weeks. Sorry, but as soon as we finish this game we will let you guys know and start setting things up. I apologize for the wait.

I would like to try this too - a relaxed multiplayer game. - I like the idea.
I am from europe (from central europe).

i would definitely need to make arrangements,m since I am extremely bussy person

Standard time zone: UTC/GMT +1 hour

I can ussually play in the previous 3 hours of the time of the writing of this post. and get plenty of free time on weekends.

Gamingmuse and Nicol.Bolas are more than welcome :)

However we have a big problem: People who wants to join Civ Hour II are from Asia, Europe and US. How can we find a time that is fine to everyone?

And here is some more bad news: I cannot play next saturday so we must try to own AI in sunday :( Apologies...:( Sorry...:(

I just wanted to remind you guys: I can't play today. I have REALLY busy weekend going on here... I hope that its possible to meet you in sunday. Remember to check this thread BEFORE joining the game tomorrow. I'm really sorry abut this mess...:(

See ya at 18.00. Let's finish it quickly.

Sooo... We finished the first Civ Hour today and I can't wait until next game :) Seems like we have more players next time. Congratulations to Shulgi (for highest score after AI was killed). I'll post "Civ Hour II" tomorrow if I have enough time for my dummy o' homeworks. :P Should we try E18? If no, how much AI's will be there? Lets discuss about these kind of things in Civ Hour II thread. Thank you for making my series possible to host. See you guys in the next game :)
