Amazing how strong INTJ is for civ players, which is almost the exact opposite of me, and I'm a serious civ addict.

Also notice how over 80% are introverted.

Have read a number of things on the MBTI test and was wondering if we would see a large variance from the general population to the civ playing population.

INTJ, which represents 2% of the general population, makes up approximately 1/3 of the respondents to the polling, currently.

I would have expected there to be a larger population of introverts on this forum, since they seem to be more comfortable in their own company.

The test said that I missed one, so I went back and redid it and I got ESFP.

I am only slightly expressed either way on that category, so I can go to either one.
So that would make me either a Champion or a Performer. Either one does suit me well. In fact from the Jobs that I could go itno, they came out exactly the same.

74% of people when I did the calculations, were introverted, so they are clearly in the majority. It was 68 introverts against 24 extroverts, so by a 2 to 1 majority, more people are introverted that extroverted.

No test will ever be perfect studying human actions. However, MBTI does provide some useful grouping aspects.

INTJ. Been taking these test regularly since I was about ten. Had a small detour into ENTJ in my early teens, but dad thought I was only tricking myself. Prolly right too, since I went beck to this and have been this ever since.

I wouldn't say that INTJs are necessarily more common among Civ-players, but that they also love mbti much more than everyone else (maybe except INTP) and thus answer the poll to a higher degree.
