Well anything that needs a great person or general to build, but there are alot of those (academy, scotland yard, military academy, holy shrine, corps HQ). You can build a palace once you have 4 cities on normal size.

Well, I don't think it's the Palace, since the Palace is a National Wonder, and BTA said the building was a non-wonder.

That still leaves 3 though not 1.

Well aside from Acadamy/Military Acadamy/Scotland Yard, there's nothing else it could be...

Maybe it's a Cathedral? It's not a Wonder (i.e. can build more than one) and requires a certain number of temples to be made.

It still needs to be built like any other building, and not acquired through "alternative means". Plus technically there are seven of them, not "only one". ;)

Bridges? But I wouldn't consider them "buildings".

Unique Buildings??

As for GM and GE, I doubt if anyone can do anything else about it except guessing.
Actually not. If you'll notice, I guessed Confucianism for my first GM guess(Which i got right), and I figured that out because the only way you can research CoL without Priesthood was with Currency(Hence, GM)

I guess I phrased the question wrong. I meant category of building, like UWHabs said. Then again, the only difficulty in the question is confusion (>_>), so meh. UWHabs wins it, since shrines and corp HQs are world wonders, and do not apply in my question. He said not counting, so I didn't count those as part of his answer.

BTW: UWHabs, does the UW in your name stand for University of Washington? My sister goes there.

Nice reasoning, although I don't know if it can be applied to a case where Islam can be founded before Christianity :crazyeye:

It's actually University of Waterloo.

Okay, my question then: If you sort the leaders alphabetically, which Civs have leaders in a row. This is by the name in the game, so for example, Julius Ceasar and Augustus Ceasar are listed like that, so they're not adjacent (even if they're both Ceasar).

Also, which country has 2 leaders which are furthest apart?

I guess Cyrus/Darius and Boudica/Brennus.

Farthest apart hmm Churchill and Victoria?

I figured it'd be easy, but not THAT easy. I was hoping Cyrus/Darius would be challenging, since they at least start with different letters. You're up, ParadigmShifter.

*edit: although if I wanted to be evil, I could disqualify you, since I did ask for the civs, not the leaders, but I won't :)

Hey that was a guess as well ;)

How about: name all the World Wonders (don't include Holy Shrines or Corps) that weren't built by civilisations that are in the game. Let's say Stonehenge was built by the Celts for sake of argument ;)

I can't think of anything. By the time I think of something, It'll probably have been answered by someone smarter than me.

Edit: I just thought of Christo Redentor, but that's all that comes to mind. i'll be back later with more.

Edit 2: Thought of a couple of questons. Does, for exampe, the Great Libary count as Arabian? Does the Temple of Artimes count as Greek, even though it is not "technically" in Greece?

Space Elevator and Cristo Redentor, unless you count the Vatican as different than Rome, in which case include Sistine Temple and the AP, or if you count the shrines, in which case the Church of the Nativity and the Temple of Solomon were built by Isreal.

Space Elevator doesn't count 'cos no-ones started to build it yet.

I'm not including Holy Shrines.

That list is incomplete as well.
