Civ Quiz I

How about: name all the World Wonders (don't include Holy Shrines or Corps) that weren't built by civilisations that are in the game. Let's say Stonehenge was built by the Celts for sake of argument ;)
If the Space elevator wasn't built, no civ ( in game or not ) built it :p Hence it falls under the specifications of your question :D

Didn't see rolo's post, he gets the next question. First poster was missing the Shwedagon Paya which was Burmese.

Rock and Roll wasn't really built either so I didn't count that one.

EDIT: rolo is like Mr. Logic from Viz ;)

Someone has to do that :D

One ex-leader of Civ III is now a GP. But Firaxis made a big blunder with the unit graph of that ex-leader in civ IV . Which leader I'm talking about and what blunder Firaxis did?

Let's see, I never played Civ III, so I have no idea. I'm guessing that it would have been a GP, since none of the other classes make much since as a leader. On that idea, I'm figuring the graphics screw-up is something with the baldness?

Tatran is right. Joan of Arc was the French leader in Civ III and became a bold beared Great Prophet in Civ IV ( a sad thing , given that she was a woman :p )

Which strategic resource is only available in civ4 and not in previous versions of civ?

Well I never played anything but Civ II yay! And that game didn't have any strategic resources.

Was Ivory there? Was it strategic?

So few strategic resources so this is my last guess.

What are the most expensive and cheapest world wonders (in terms of hammers)?

Edit: Including requirements...

Edit 2: Excluding shrines and HQs and Including Production Multipliers.

Edit 3: There are two answers for the cheapest world wonders...

How do you balance requirements? Is Requires Polytheism count as less than Requires Rocketry?

Anyway, a wild guess - Stonehenge/Great Wall are the least, Space Elevator is the most.

I don't see how the cheapest wonder can have two possibilities - the only chap early wonders which cost the same are the great wall and the oracle. But how can they be cheaper than the stonehenge?

The most expensive one has got to be the space elevator, unless assume that the bonus from aluminum halves its cost. In that case, a wonder like the UN which doesn't have any booster might take the field.

Cheapest is Stonehenge.

Most expensive is Three Gorges Dam... 90% sure. No resource to speed up production.

But I'm not 100% sure what you mean by consider production multipliers. It wouldn't make sense to halve the hammers based upon a resource as the possible multipliers would be: 100% from ironworks, 50% from power, 50% from buildings, maybe 50% from bureaucracy, and maybe 10% from state property, plus the base which equals 100%. Assuming all of them, maybe a resource wonder could be considered 3.6/4.6 times the total cost.. I think even assuming that three gorges would be more expensive than space elevator...
