Ah yeah that's right, Qin was Financial/Industrious, not Expansive/Industrious. I think. That would be 14...

Well yeah 14 would be right. On the question, hypothetically, the GPP from the Stature owuld outweigh the 8 gold in real time valye.

Thread had been dead for over 72 hours which is why I posted a question... hope that was ok :) Anyway....

Don't forget the trade route bonus. It's raw :commerce:, but I don't know the maximum amount possible. Unless it doesn't count as direct. Anyway:
Great Library 6*0,5=3 3/350=0,00857
Spiral Minaret/University of Sankore 4*2*0,5=4 4/550=0,00727
Temple of Artemis 1+0,5=1,5 1,5/350=0,00429
Statue of Liberty 2*1=2 (engineer) 2/1500=0,00133 - worst.

Getting close. :D

A few hints -

When calculating, remember to use best case scenario. There are better specialists available than the ones you have calculated with...

Also, trade route definitely counts as raw commerce...

the only better specialist from your calculation on SoL is an Angor Wat Powered Priest reaching 2,5

Spy = 0,5 OR 2,5 depending on if you count Ep
Engineer = 2
Merchant = 1,5
Scientist = 1,5
Artist = 0,5 OR 2,5 depending on Culture (likely not)
Priest = 1,5 OR 2,5 with Angor Wat

So 2+1,5=3,5 3,5/1500=0,00233 4/1500=0,00267 with Angkor Wat priest but I believe that this additional hammer should be counted as Angkor Wat's bonus, not Statue of Liberty's.

I also have a quick question ... no prize for the right answer:

Can missile cruisers (the ships) carry cruise missiles?

Nope. It would seem random for a such a obvious question, so I am going abstract here. (on the other hand, it would be extremely embarrassing if I was wrong, but that's a chance I'll take)

Yes, they can. Albeit I'm not sure because I've never built one. Unless you take into account the fact that it's not Cruise Missile, but Guided Missile.

Ouch. :blush:

I hoping your wrong, BtB.

The Statue of liberty would not be the lowest because you could have more than one city.

The worst in the best case scenario would be temple of Artemis with Angkor Wat and Rep for 2/175. Approximately 0.0114.

EDIT: I forgot it was a OCC. It would be the Statue giving a spy with Rep for 1/175. About 0.00571.

@Matthew - time to get embarrassed because they cannot carry guided missiles. Neither can subs or any other ship that I can find.

:confused:

I should be embarrassed because I am correct?

ok - you are right. So, time to not get embarrassed. I probably should have completely read your answer instead of half reading it - sorry.

What does the second half tell? Anyways, am I supposed to ask a question now?

It depends. Are we waiting for confirmation of the answer to Airefuego's question? Ruff_hi are you rebasing them or loading them in a city/fort, because I believe that one of this methods works, while the other does not.

my question wasn't an official quiz question. Playing a game and have over 400 guided missiles - would like to get some of them on any sort of ship - anyone got any suggestions? I haven't tried transports yet - they might behave like land units.

At the moment, I have them scattered around my empire in various cities - there is no limit to how many I can put into cities (unlike aircraft - fighters and bombers).

I thought you just had to load them onto the ship, not that I have tried ;)
Rebasing doesn't work like it does for moving fighters to carriers I don't think.

Hi all sorry for delay!

Bob the Barbari is correct:

Statue of Liberty giving one Angkor Wat priest under representation

= (2 hammers 1 gold 3 beakers) ie 4 / 1500 =0.00267

Or in other words you break even after a mere 375 turns! ... definitely not the highest priority wonder when playing OCC!

I believe you have to have your Missiles and Missile Cruisers in one city/fort and click load, but I may be wrong as the only Missile I actually use is ICBM.

My question will be an easy one as usual: name all the units always starting with at least one promotion, excluding: UUs, Protective/Aggressive trait promotions, Red Cross, Dun, Trading Post.
