Civ Quiz I

I'm out of ideas so someone else may ask if he/she wants.
Edit: Or maybe a quick one: which UB looks like a building it doesn't replace and which UU looks like a unit it doesn't depleace.

Nope. Not Terrace (it doesn't look much like a Sacrifical Altar for me). But you're right about Phalanx.
Edit: Well now as I look at it Terrace accually looks quite similar to Sacrifical Altar. But anyway I'm asking about a UB that looks like a standard (not UB) building it doesn't replace.

The conquistador also looks like the explorer. ;)

Phalanx and, uh...

Hard to tell, kind of vague. The hippodrome looks more like a colloseum than a theatre. Or maybe the indian jail looking more like a temple? Or the viking's trading post doesn't really look like a lighthouse at all, more of a harbor.

Oh, come on. It's easy. I'll give you a big hint if the next person doesn't guess. Hippodrome doesn't look like a Theatre, but neither like a Colosseum. I admit that Mausoleum looks like an Islamic Temple, or rather Monastery, and Trading Post resembles Harbor much more than Lighthouse, but the one I'm thinking about is even more obvious. It can even be confused.

I love questions where the answer is "yeah that answer is correct but it's not the correct answer I was thinking of." Always a joy to behold. :p

Gardens is obvious though, that's what I get for never playing the babylonians before. (They're on my to do list...)

All right. Here is a hint: both buildings had similar uses in history, which can be clearly seen in their design. Do you need a second hint?

And how can Hanging Gardens be called "standard building"? And maybe you're right that the question is stupid but I could not came up with anything better.

I probably shouldn't answer (since i asked the previous question), but Feitora and castle?

Apart from the fact that just about everything looks a bit like the Hanging Gardens (Garden, Terrace, sacrificial Altar, even the Malinese mint, to a certain degree).

:cry::wallbash::hammer2:

Final "hint": it is of the same Civ as the unit. Now say if it does not look like ...

Odeon looks like Castle? To me it looks like a colosseum, but it replaces that.
Edit: Phalanx looks like SPearman

Great, we have a winner. Now you can ask a question. Edit: Especially since you did mention the unit.

Name the civ who has a UU that loses a certain ability but gains strength instead. This civ can get that unit to regain the taken abiltiy be creating it a city that gives +5 experience on unrestricted starts and promoting it correctly. A final hint, this unit when given back its taken ability is the equal of its upgrade, if not better besides the -5 spent on equalizing it.

Edit: Woohoo, post #300! I'm finally Prince...or at least I've just noticed I am.

Hey, wait a minute.
The Odeon looks like a theatre. ;)
See in game buildings.

No way. You are kidding me, aren't you? Nevertheless the winner has been chosen, so your objections to Odeon looking like a Castle are futile.
