Civ VI Funny/Strange Screenshots

Some diplomacy has been going on here, clearly

Spoiler 19 envoys required for suzerain... :
Well, that happens. I was a suzerain of it with 6 envoys, then Teddy declared war on me, all my 5 allies jumped in, and somehow Tamar went slightly over the top trying to counter Teddy's diplomacy :D (But they do save envoys and deploy them to take enemy CS out of war, an interesting strategy...) Speaking of Teddy... He was unhappy that I captured a city-state on our continent in the Ancient Era for about 5000 years... Finally when I had battleship armadas he decided to attack... Then after I pillaged the crap out of him (it was something like 4 GPs worth of gold and faith, them corsary barbairs are good!), he suddenly forgets those ancient grievances and becomes a friend...

He's meaning that even if the trader happened to not pass over the stone, all would not be lost, he could build a Mekewap instead. Trader is their only way of acquiring titles, other than world congress resolution for culture bomb or certain great people.

Not sure what you mean but Cree can buy tiles like any other civ.

of course, but you can't "skip" a tile like the picture above. And 3rd ring purchases can be expensive.

Ok, I don't have an explanation for this. Is Wilhelmina saving on maintenance, or something? :D She (or somebody, I didn't do it) cleared the encampments, but left this in the desert.

Another question is why do they leave these desert patches in the middle of their lands, while they'll happily settle on any other crappy piece of land?

That's pretty funny, can't say I've ever found more than maybe two captured builders left behind. Have to agree with @Haig 's strike theory. :p

Actually there were about 5 more in the FoW :D I didn't even bother capturing them all in the end, because I don't have enough tiles for them to improve until the end of the game I guess...

They truly just wanted to build, but had no country to build for even after there capturers were vanquished.

Also, anyone else get frustrated when a barb worker or settler goes into the ocean?

In my Rome game when discovered another continent, I also discovered SEVEN barbarian settlers. Had a pretty cool colony after that.

A desert oasis amid snow-capped mountains? Seems strange, but it looks kind of nice.

Everybody is at war with Kupe (business as usual, he seems worse than Alexander in this department), yet everybody has agreed to send aid... Did they think it was a military emergency or something?

To make things funnier, I actually have 18 diplo points, and here comes this gimmick :D

Dueling encampments! I've never seen three of them together like this before, side-by-side-by-side. Pretty crazy.

Here's something I haven't noticed before — a pasture with the gates open to let the cattle graze outside. Is that a new addition, or am I just unobservant?

It's not new. That's what pastures look like when the tile isn't being worked.

Ahhh... okay, thanks for the explanation. I suppose since my cities almost always have a citizen working the pastures, I hadn't ever noticed that. It's pretty cool, though, a nice detail.

Another pretty cool seaside resort (literally).
Why bother with camping inside the nature parks when there is a seaside resort nearby? Visitors may also choose to go swimming with the fishes whilst enjoying the majestic view of those icebergs.

Here, Qin. A wonder for the Middle Kingdom to awe at, since you can't make one yourself!

Well, I've built this Taj Mahal on the other side of the mountain range, and only then realized that it's Qin who lives there, which makes some epic trolling :D

And to the North is an example of an earlier trick played on me by Philip. I started Petra, not thinking anything could go wrong, and next thing he plucks Toledo there and steals the copper tile!
