Bread or pasta? For the glory of the Great Carb!
Don't worry, my army will soon cross the bridge and dark purple will be as hegemonious as Crabonism
For the glory of the Great Carb!
My last game I kept Boudicca for the entire game in order to survey for hidden barbarians. It is a very useful tactic.I'm assuming that has has to be Boudicca. Well everyone knows she's a druid.![]()
The jersey system is still a bit dodgy. I would love to know how it determines a colour clash. Take these two setups for example:

I have added many colour configurations to my game setup, and the left game would be a bloody mess to play. However the game setup detects no clashes. The rightmost game setup has a clash with FrEleanor and Robert the Bruce, even though to my eyes, the light blue/pale yellow and medium blue/white are quite easy to tell apart. I would love to know how this was determined. I would also love to have the facility to override so-called "clashes" in player colours.
And yes, I specifically set up the left game to try and get as many similar coloured civs in one game as I could.
At the same time maybe this picture does belong in this particular thread. It's a very interesting topic and question, but I don't think it belongs in this thread. Why not open a new topic if there isn't one on the Jersey-system?

It is funny to me that there seems to be a color clash on the second one, and not the first which has every shade of purple imaginable, with Spain and Rome being "almost" identical?.![]()
Bread or pasta?![]()
That's generally where I was going with that since PiR was playing as Rome. The Italian in me wants to answer "Yes."
France wins the bread contest, no question.Sorry, but, as a French guy, I cannot choose Italian bread.![]()
Those are two different shades of purple, therefore according to the game they don't clash.
That's what I was attempting to illustrate. So as far as I am concerned, I find this more amusing than strange (as per the thread topic). It is funny to me that there seems to be a color clash on the second one, and not the first which has every shade of purple imaginable, with Spain and Rome being "almost" identical?
Hello,
I have seen a very strange place today in my Arabia game. I first though it was a bug but finally I believe it's an incredible rng due to (assumed) repeted forest fire fertilizing this land :
I'm using some mods but only the most popular and I have never encountered that before.
Otherwise, few hex further, all things are normal (as you can see on the left) :
What do you think of it ?
Edit: Disaster intensity regular 2/4.
the game uses that in place of displaying any number 12 and up. it doesn't put number text over an image, instead it has images for a large version of each yield with the numbers 6-11, and after that they just use a star to indicate "alright its just a stupid-big number"What does the little star in the production /food icon mean?
Ah, thanks Aria. I thought it might have been something like that.the game uses that in place of displaying any number 12 and up. it doesn't put number text over an image, instead it has images for a large version of each yield with the numbers 6-11, and after that they just use a star to indicate "alright its just a stupid-big number"
Totally agree with the respect part.impressive! It has to be forest fire.
Can you really use that much food? Won't the amenities or housing be the limiting factor? I wouldn't even dare to build a single district there, just out of respect for the yields!![]()
As long as one does not settle in the center, and have the cities placed as such that there is a mix of those extraordinary tiles combined with some normal yield tiles, it wouldn't be any difficult to find place for districts that are not on those megayield tiles.I guess the best use is to maximize the number of cities eating those yields.
