I don't regret conquering Teddy's capital after he declared war on me. I think even when they are friendly, the AI will never accept a luxury resource for a luxury resource deal.

That's not true, I've gotten deals where they even pay extra money on top of a luxury for my luxury.

I've seen the AI build Chicken Pizza on the only available jungle tile MANY times... and rush to get it too! (now where is that facepalm emoji? )
