Civ VI Funny/Strange Screenshots

I was going to put a city to use the great barrier reef, but the Netherlands put a city that blocked literally every other tile within reach of the reef, but doesn't reach the reef itself. It's like the least optimal placement possible. Ugh

Update: I put a bunch of cities around and planned to burn down the Dutch city when it flipped to free, only to learn that you can't burn down a captured free city if its founder is an ally. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh. I think I'll just hold onto it until the alliance is up and then trade it to someone who is nowhere nearby and then let it flip and burn it down (for real this time)....

I'm sure this has been posted before but first time for me.
I guess you need tunnels to improve the marble?
Game just trolling me as usual.
Didn't see it till now but I guess you can put a Campus or Holy Site in there?
I built my aqueduct to extract water from the mountain but sometimes we get unwanted lava.

EDIT: Not that it matters but I'm playing with monopoly mode because I don't fully understand it. Some games I find it difficult to get a monopoly if I don't just warmonger. This game I have easy land and control all the Salt (6 copies) and Wine (6 copies). I found that interesting because if you own all the salt and wine in the world you basically control all of Civilization.

The game before was the opposite as I had nothing but flat desert and some Tundra with Frelanore. I hardly had a hill or a luxury let alone a monopoly.

sadly you cant remove luxuries, and since theyre all revealed from the start, you cant put a district on top except thru mods.
that sorta situation's one of the occasions where if im playing casually ill let myself use the cheat map editor mod, just to put down a qhapaq ñan (mountain tunnels in owned territory give era score) for just long enough to get a builder in & out

You won't be able to raze it if it has belonged to you in the past (from my xp).

Just finishing up a Chinese Kublai game before trying out the new barbarians mode, got some good screenshots to share.

1st is just showing off a really satisfying Great Wall which, with the help of one lake and a bit of mountain, completely walls most of my empire off from the rest of the world. That's 38 Great Wall tiles in total, in 3 segments. (side note - not complaining about getting this map as China, but dang it'd be even better if I was Indonesia. All those bays look like fantastic Kampung territory... and yet I'm meeting AI Gitarja's agenda cos she only cares about small islands :crazyeye:)

2nd, I found this great place to garrison a Crouching Tiger after Wilhelmina, who refuses to like me despite me trading with her, decided to settle right by the wall.

It should work as long as you did not found the city yourself. A flipped city you briefly owned can be razed :)!

Obtained an Astrology boost from clearing a barbarian camp. This is a thing now?
I've seen two other reports of this. I'm wondering now if this could be a bug where Sumeria's Epic Quest CUA could be applying to every Civ.

Ok, Barbs, I Agree, technically that plot was the closest water from my Capital, by one tile.

And that was fun, but give me back my money.

now.
