that makes sense. The marginal value of the PDF versus the wiki is real but small and the effort is large.
It would be nice if the Word / PDF could be open sourced on github with crowdsourced changes via pull requests. I don't know that Word documents (or open source equivalents) are amenable to github.
I would be willing to make some updates to the document and generate PDFs but a better long term solution is a crowd sourced solution, which is why the wikis are up to date and the PDF is not.
While the wikis are good enough, the advertisements are a little annoying and the presentation and navigability of the PDF is far better (IMO)
