Genghis, and Trung Trac playing either Silla or Assyria.

All things aside, I find it lowkey embarrassing it took this long to get any of this. But good changes all around.

Firaxis confirmed in the comment section of that video that Dai Viet's theme was being posted this week.
Pretty sure it’s already being used/teased in the second half of the video.

No notes on the Continuity setting - it directly addresses a few prominent complaints about age transition. Of specific note, it looks like ships will no longer be destroyed upon age transition - Aksum players rejoice!

I’m a bit puzzled about the relationship balancing - the current state made sense to me, and I didn’t feel like anything was jarring in my games. Not to mention, any status quo gets thrown out of the window in Modern anyway with the adoption of ideologies.

Judging from the icon style and the Scout model shown in that moment, my money is on Assyria.

That was my assumption as well. Unless it's some weird Silla symbol i am unaware of (if you tilt your head a little, it kinda looks like a child's drawing of a wolf's head.

Having the type of transition be a choice is also very nice. If my army is utterly out of position because it was off beating up on Ultima Thule it is nice to have the option of keeping it beating at the start of the new Age or getting it all back home because my new neighbor in Exploration is Mongolia . . .
Don't you have to make the choice during game setup? You won't know who your exploration neighbors will be.

Cool! My negative view of the game that i had before is growing into positive, step by step.

All the infos about the upcoming update sounds good to me, and that new civs and leaders are underway is also very cool.

Looking forward how they will improve the game with time, Civ7 has great potential.

So since we have a unique model for a single commander now uh, did the British battleship model ever get updated? I haven’t actually played Britain yet to find out - I’ve been trying other civs and combos since there are so many and Britain wasn’t super high on the list yet.

I wonder if we will get other unique comanders. For example, could we get a Patton as a unique US army commander which unique art and promotions? That would be super cool.

It was updated some time ago. While it's not very historically accurate, it differs enough from default Battleship now.

Yay,
I can't wait to try this out. My wife has our Civ-playable laptop on her and is traveling and my last save is 2 patches ago, I think I'll need to abandon my latest game and start fresh.

I guess there hasn't been anything official regarding what is in Right to Rule exactly?
I'm guessing an update later today or tomorrow.

Super eager to see what else is in the roadmap until end of the year. I'm guessing another significant update or 2 and some more DLC. Great work so far.

That’s good to hear! I don’t recall seeing it in the patch notes but glad they did something to it

They probably picked Trung since she gets that free army commander so I assume her sister gets slotted into the ability that way. I wouldn’t want this overdone but there’s definitely room for even a cool naval commander on a naval leader

From discord just now:

@News Notifications Double ping?! You may have noticed in our latest Developer Update Video a certain Mongolian warrior-ruler...

Any guesses on the ages of the wonders? 1 Antiquity, 2 Expo, and 1 Modern. Along with 1 for Assyria and 1 for Dai Viet? So 6 total?
