Civ3 Title Screens

Hey- we still need an Indian Ocean and one Asia-Centred world

Well the Asia-centered title screen has been done for about 3 hours now but the upload file link doesn't seem to be working and even all of the other pics I posted don't show up as long as this is fixed soon I'll probably have time to upload it tomorrow around noon.

I have FINALLY found time to make a few more screens, they are - Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece ,and Ancient Rome I have also mad ALL the previews 640x480, this detracts from the quality but it's now possible to see the whole screen without scrolling around.

A little note, on the ancient Rome screen the rightmost legionary looks decapitated, maybe thats only on the preview.

Yes, it's as simple as resizing the image using almost any photo editor, just increase the size to the resolution you want and then (making sure the picture is still 256 colours) save it . This will detract from some quality but not much. I could possibly post high resolution screens if there enough people interested ...

On the higher resolution (in game, full screen) it's much easier to see his head through the slightly transparent III I didn't intend to put his head behind the letters but it made him look kind neat so i didn't bother to change it, although i could...

On the Flames screen, is Inginla headless? (I have crappy eyesight). Again, very good job with these.

Cool, the new ones are very nice - although I still preferr the Earth one and the Pre-historc one (letters are easier to read too )

Creative department eh?

As for Iginla being headless, his head is there but it is fading into the background, The 640x480 really don't do justice to some of these screens, however, I made the images fade on the edges so as to create an image that is at least semi-unified.

Another note :
I will not be making any more new title screens unless some one actually requests one (I'm kinda sceptical if many people actually use these ingame )

Well Saladin is in it (quite prominintley actually) also have the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, Taj Mahal, some Islamic art, Allah's name etc...

Dude im really sorry, but those are terrible. Their so cluttered, and un- aliased. Sorry. Try putting less things in them, and making them more simple.

Well, thanks for partially constructive critiscism , I was kind of thinking I was putting too much in some of the later ones. If you really like simple then the first three earth ones would probably suit your taste, right?
