Leonardfactory's Policy Yield Previews

Leonardfactory's Policy Yield Previews 1.0.3

Hi! There is still a bug with ru loc:

Code:

text/ko_KR/InGameText.xml

                    <File>text/ru_RU/InGameText.xml</File>

Mod is great help for making decisions, thanks! Nevertheless sometimes calculation is obviously wrong. E.g. I have no monuments at all, even not able to build, still suzerain bonus preview says +32 culture (its the first suzerain).

Just a suggestion from a non-modder: perhaps keep the folder name consistent between releases to avoid having to remove the prior directory from the Mods directory. I tend to just overwrite the existing directory from the ZIP file. Yes, I'm lazy.

I do this since if you just drag & drop it, you may keep older files and break it sometimes.
PS: You could use CivMods to install mods and update them, it's a Mod Manager I've made with other CivFanatics members!

Thanks for the pointer to the mod manager. I definitely would prefer that instead of having to manually drop files, especially since I can then keep the older versions and easily toggle them on or off.

EDIT: Yes, I know I can disable mods in the game menu, but let's forget the extent of my laziness.

Ekklesia Mastery (Greece) is bugged for me. Displays a preview of 48 culture, gave me 8 culture after completion.

Bug report: using controller interface with mod version 1.0.0, I was unable to choose any Leader Attributes. The controller UI simply could not select any of the Attributes. Using RB/LB to tab through the types of Attributes worked, but none of the Attribute circles would select. To temporarily fix the issue, I disabled this mod, then loaded the save; the Leader Attributes screen worked properly with the controller interface when this mod was disabled.

Details: SteamOS on Steam Deck. Vulkan version of Civ VII 1.1.1 Patch 1.

Thanks for this mod -- it's excellent!

Might I suggest to move the options from the game tab to the add-ons tab, where most mods store their options nowadays?
Thanks, done!

Fixed in latest release, thanks for reporting!

I'll look into this, thanks for the detailed notes; I hope to be able to simulate it someway on desktop.

is it possible we put the yield previews on the founder belief choose tab?
I'll see what I can I do, seems feasible!

Love the mod...but with the new big patch today...this mod bricks the research queuing!
You visually cannot see the queue with number sequences as advertised from the patch notes.

If you want to use this mod while waiting for it to be fixed, find the file named lf-policies-yields-preview.modinfo

remove this line.

scripts/ui/tech-civic/tech-civic-tooltip-decorator.js

It should still work in the other places in the game. This just removes it from the tech and civic research screens.

huge thanks for the FYI...it worked...the tech tree now lights up with the queued techs and listed in numerical order.

I too got very used to the nice QoL benefit this mod provides so may do that in the meantime.

Workaround is to switch the card back and forth and calculate the yield difference manually, but its nice spend more time playing and less time doing math

Edit: that workaround only works with policy cards though, not new abilities you research
