D/L at 490kB/s in Western Canada... gotta like that. That's less than 5 min for 121MB, which ain't bad for a new patch.
For anyone that's interested I've got a new version of my 40 civs mod up. I probably could've had it up earlier but I was out of town all day and didn't even know that patch was released untill about an hour ago.

There is one downside to the patch though: they did in fact completely remove the 'ugly' glance tab from the foreign advisor.
What a loss.
That tab was the most functional one in the entire game, and I don't even think it was 'ugly', if certainly it wasn't beautiful.
Does anybody know of a way to bring it back? Maybe a mod?

Arrgh! You're right. What were they thinking, I really liked that screen. This had to be a decision my some marketeer, "oooh, all those numbers, I don't understand any of it, we'd better take it out. Besides, it's not pretty. icky-poo."
Has anyone ever seen a post by someone who complained about it?

Funny line as that is, it's of course totally not funny the glance screen is out.
Used it all the time like I suppose most players. I'm sure it'll get modded back in real fast

I didn't even d/l it cause the site says the patch does not work with digital versions. I think that's what the guy means when he says that multiplayer won't work for those of us stuck with 3.02/3.03... meaning, the digital-download folks.

I'm in worki so cant check, I have a custom scenario map of Europe18, I've made it my own, cities placed in right position, religion correct etc, Will I have to completely rebuild it to have it compatible with this patch? Or can I just start a new game on the existing map and it will be a 3.13 game?

Mine is still where I left it it before the patch (tundra instead of desert, likelihood 5 instead of 20).
Fixed Ctrl-H out-of-sync in multiplayer
Interesting, becuse I saw the game going OOS every time I used ctrl H the other day and figured that this couldn't be a coincidence. Though the reports here of increased OOS-ness is worrying.
I think they are working on a digital-download version but I don't see anything on Direct2Drive yet... so we're going to have to wait a while for 3.13 while all the CD-people get to play 3.13. I do not play MP but it sounds like MP requires 3.13 now or something, so us digital-download folks can't play MP in the meantime. Or something. Doh!

Unless the place that provided the download has the patch available (Steam, Direct2Drive), I believe so. You'll have problems installing the patch otherwise, if what I've read is correct.
Edit: Crosspost with Axident.
Edit #2: I believe the Steam patch is out, but not entirely sure.

Well I believe that the main requirement for playing multiplayer games is that all participants have the same version of the game. (Rather logical, in fact.)
So, if you have 3.03, you should still be able to play MP with anyone else who also has 3.03.
It's just that most MP games are upgraded to the latest patch as soon as it becomes available. So, with 3.03, your options will be rather limited.
