As for the how-to... it's a first for me as game coordinator.
Since U already have a "Tracker" account, i believe it's possible to use <Edit player settings> to switch Portugal to you.
As for any personal/private password on his Portugal civ/file... don't know.
I'll post this over on "Redofish" thread also. Perhaps 1 of other players has it... or has any objection to your substitution.

Keep an eye on this thread tho; there may be opportunities in a couple of other games that have stopped due to no commo from player who's turn is waiting.

I don't see what the big deal is. Seriously, the fanclub of a 2.000 year old hippie has more members than ever in the Americas, in Europe everyone gushes over a newborn prince and elsewhere people lead holy wars against the very concept of civilization. It's almost as if we never moved beyond Feudalism. :sad:

Obviously I can and I do. I would even go as far as calling him rebel scum that undermined the imperial order of glorious Rome for which he received his just punishment.

right fellow civfanatics, this is smth i should have let you know earlier.
i am going through some radical changes in my life for past one and a half month, involving change of work, apartment, and relocation through 5 timezones to the east with my wife and one year old baby; you can imagine what kind of mess and stress it turned out to be.

i am telling all of this to explain my very bad turnaround time, which have been noticed by many of you. i apologize about it. i also cannot guarantee it will stabilize for couple more weeks, until i fully settle in my new place.

admins of the games i am in - if you think i should be replaced in your games - please feel free to call for replacement. may i just ask it to be temporary replacement.

We would like to find a replacement, we'll advertise that they will be temp's... or permanent if U find your new world(s) continue to have positive priority in your (& family's) life.

If U would PM or email your passwords to games' administrators (well, at least for games i'm responsible for) that would help greatly to get these contests moving advancing again.

Ambitious Muslim Leader to lead present day Muslim countries on planet Earth in the PBEM game featured in my signature (Earth 2010 mod with latest update required). 6 civilizations to control! The Muslim team is currently leading the score table after 19 turns played since October 2010 (in game dates), but generally considered an underdog in this complex game against 6 other human players.

Please PM if interested. I will offer all the support in installation and details of the mod.

EDIT: Looks like Imp. Knoedel will join us! Waiting for his final decision to request a password from Eclipse.
 
why do you need a replacement for dominearthion Eclipse played his turn is it because he broke a house rule?
