WWII Supremacy - this is a PBEM (in a MOD called Supremacy) that started in 1939 and has gone until 1942 but 2 players have dropped out of the game so we are looking for replacements.
General history of the game
(Date: +- February 1942)
Commonwealth declared war on Axis on September 1939. In West Europe, Blitzkrieg was a success and the Axis were able to conquer most of West Europe and now controls France, Spain, Norway and Sweden.
On North Africa the Facist regimes started well but have lost the initiative after a battle in El Alamein. The situation at this moment can be described as a stalemate with the exception of Somalia, that was conquered by the Allied forces recently. In the Mediterranean the Ally fleet seems to have the upperhand but Malta is still in Axis hands...
On Asia, Japan has oriented their efforts against China and have successfully make advances in several fronts against it.
USA has been in peace until 1942, when it decided to declare war to Japan to support China. It has invaded one secondary island but after that the mighty American and Japanese fleets stare at each other lacking the nerves to make the first move.
USSR has been at peace with the major powers, taking the opportunity to seize several small weak countries: Poland, Baltic states, Finland, Arabia, Greece, Persia, Mongolia.
