Observations:

You can liberate defeated civs.

Air units automatically recon everything in their range at the beginning of the turn. This cuts down on one annoying micromanagement thing.

I'm a little sad that there are only 7 natural wonders (no Grand Canyon?!) and that there are a few missing wonders - Hollywood, Rock n Roll, Parthenon, Three Gorges Dam, Spiral Minaret, etc. I wonder if these will be added into the game in the form of free DLC

That is what DLC are for, and of course they will not be Free.

Regarding Diplo victory: "Civilizations will always vote for themselves unless liberated"... ?

So basically it's impossible to win a diplo victory unless some big bad wolf conquers everyone and then you liberate everybody else? uh?

Or can you win just with the City States loving you?

It also loses the +20% production towards buildings, simply giving +1 production per forest instead, that really doesnt look good anymore.
