I thought that word fit the situation in WW1, since everyone was bogged down in trench warfare for a year(right?)
Perhaps only a year for America seeing as they didn't enter WW1 until 1917, though longer for our troops.Sword_Of_Geddon said:I thought that word fit the situation in WW1, since everyone was bogged down in trench warfare for a year(right?)

@Civ Army s1994 - I like the gallops you've animated for the mounted units, though in the death anims, they just seem to fall to one side. I'm not sure quite how I plan to animate horse deaths however - have you tried anything else?
I really like the Ethiopian Archer, which is a definate "must have" for Anno Domini. In fact, I've downloaded a few units from this thread that I can use.

flamescreen said:You say..."slaves". Are they of the Janissaries variety(that have lots of Greeks and other Balkan people, like Serbs)? Since Jannisary is less a unit and more a designation for troops(though there were exlusive combat units of them), so there were obviously Jannisary horsmen around.
Also, if you have any links of historical info, I'd like that, it's my first time I read about them.
