Perhaps only a year for America seeing as they didn't enter WW1 until 1917, though longer for our troops.
@Civ Army s1994 - I like the gallops you've animated for the mounted units, though in the death anims, they just seem to fall to one side. I'm not sure quite how I plan to animate horse deaths however - have you tried anything else?
I really like the Ethiopian Archer, which is a definate "must have" for Anno Domini. In fact, I've downloaded a few units from this thread that I can use .

These three horses were my first mounted units that I did mounths ago (and re-exported again these days), I think my death animations for the fowards moutned untis r better. These units r not here yet, cos they were not exported yet, process that I'll re-take this week. But if u want check how these animations r, u could move to my home page (link in the sign) and see the previews there, all the images r available in the units session. Then u can have ideas how to do the death animation for your units

BTW, interesting these discussion about WW1.

I am just re-exporting the artworks again, I just did little changes, but I'll add the "cloth" for the horses in the future units that I'll build. I have more mounted units to be re-exported, I think some of them have the vestment for horses, not sure

You say..."slaves". Are they of the Janissaries variety(that have lots of Greeks and other Balkan people, like Serbs)? Since Jannisary is less a unit and more a designation for troops(though there were exlusive combat units of them), so there were obviously Jannisary horsmen around.

Also, if you have any links of historical info, I'd like that, it's my first time I read about them.

I don't doubt the validity, it probably would have to be a Turk, shame that I don't visit CFC any longer. Great unit anyway. Might have been a proto-Turk unit.
