Austiran Military: Has an army in Galicia, The Army of the Carpathians, 200,000 men strong, most in Lvov, others in defense positions; another army is in Serbia, 200,000 strong, quelling resistance in Belgrade; another army in Vienna, finishing training, 100,000 strong; another army in Budapest, 100,000 strong, also finishing training. Austrian land forces number a little more than 600,000. Also has a naval force of 4 battleships, 4 cruisers, and 6 destroyers in harbor in Corinth, Greece. Austrian naval forces number just that.

British Military: Has an army in Norway, 250,000 strong, mostly in Oslo. British land forces number just that, but reserves number over 100,000 from the Commonwealth. Also has naval force of 4 Dreadnoughts, 8 cruisers, and 12 destroyers in the Barents Sea; another force is in the North Sea, numbering about the same; another force is anchored in Portsmouth, numbering 4 Dreadnoughts, 8 cruisers, and 8 destroyers. British naval forces thus number 12 Dreadnoughts, 24 cruisers, and 32 destroyers (not counting smaller craft) while another 4 Dreadnoughts, 12 cruisers, and 16 destroyers are around the Commonwealth, adding up to 16 Dreadnoughts, 36 cruisers, and 48 drestroyers, a considerable force.

French Military: Has an army in Spain, as a garrision, of 200,000 men; another army in Munich, 198,000 strong (ater the battle of Munich), fortifying the border for the sure assault to come; another army in Paris, numbering 150,000; and another in Marseille and souther France, 150,000 strong. French land forces total 700,000 men. Also a naval force of 4 battleships, 6 cruisers, and 12 destroyers are docked in Lisbon; another force in docked in Brest, numbering 4 battleships, 4 cruisers, and 12 destroyers. Total French naval forces add up to 8 battleships, 10 cruisers, and 24 destroyers.

German Military: Has an army in the Rhur, the Army of the Ruhr, numbering 185,000 (reinforced from the Munich defeat); has another army in Holland, numbering about 200,000; another force in Berlin is waiting to be deployed, numbering 150,00 men. Total German military forces number 535,000 men. The German High Seas Fleet, docked at Copenhagen, number 4 battleships, 6 cruisers, and 8 destroyers.

Italian Military: Has an army in Tyrolia, a little more than 199,000 men; another army in Tunis; numbering 200,000 men; so total Italian land forces number just below 400,000 men. The Italian Fleet in the Ionian has 4 battleships, 6 cruisers, and 14 destroyers; while the Fleet in Naples numbers 4 Battleships, 4 cruisers, 8 destroyers, and 12 new torpedo boats. Total naval forces add up to 8 battleships, 10 cruisers, 22 destroyers, and 12 torpedo boats.

Russian Military: Has an army in Armenia, nearly 1,000,000 men strong; another is in Rumania, specifically Bucharest and Constana, also numbering nearly 1,000,000 men; another is in Sevestapol, numbering 500,000; another is in St. Petersburg, fortifiying the border with Norway, numbering 500,000 strong. Russian land forces total 3,000,000 men, but another 1,000,000 can be conscripted in times of trouble. The Russian Baltic Fleet numbers 8 battleships, 8 cruisers, and 8 destroyers, and is docked in Stockholm; another fleet is in the Black Sea, numbering 4 battleships, 4 cruisers, and 8 destroyers. Total Russian naval forces add up to 12 battleships, 12 cruisers, and 16 destroyers.

Turkish Military: Has an army in Bulgaria, specifically Sofia and Varna, numberin 150,000 men; another is in Ankara, about the same size; another army is in Smyrna, ready to fight the Russians, numbering 90,000 men. So the Sultan can call upon a little less than 400,000 men to fight. The Turkish navy in the Aegean, numbering 4 battleships, 8 cruisers, and 8 destroyers, in on patrol. So total naval forces add up to that.

----------------

Please note that all the army sizes are fictional and not historically accurate (except for the Russian Baltic Sea Fleet) so please do not think they are. And the sizes are based on the country (Russia has a larger army, etc). Note that the sizes of the fleets/armies makes no difference in gameplay, but just add a feel of fiction to the game. Also, for example I say "The French army is fortifying the border for the assault to come" which does not mean the German would assault Munich, but again is just for the game's story.

Spring 1902 due Monday, August 22nd, 11:59 GMT (pmed, of course). I will post the file for Realpolitik only every other fall, but if you need one just say so

Again? :(

Surely in a minute

Yes, of course! You already have made it, so what is the idea of not uploading it right away?
You should publice the new dpy after every turn/adjustment.

It seems rather useless I should copy, paste, resolve and save every single turn or adjustment myself, if you have already done it.

OK, I will probably resolve in the afternoon. Stay tuned! This game is more Diplomatically flawed than any other one I ever have seen! <whats he mean?> Well, not a lack of, but too much!

2nd Battle of Munich
3 March, 1902, 5:00 AM.
Germany's forces in Berlin quickly and quietly march with 150,000 men into Bavaria. Another force in the Rhur, 185,000 strong, also heads toward Munich. The French have built a line of trenches and await the German attack. But the 198,000 men cannot defend in strength all of Bavaria, with the 335,000 Germans rapidly approaching. So the French formed a series of trenches around Munich. When the two German armies came to the outer defenses, they began a pounding of the trenches with artillery on a nearby hill. The French tried to attack to sieze the artillery, but tht ended in failure. With the French disorganized the Germans rapidly attacked, seizing Munich but loosing 9,000 men. The French lost 18,000 men, about 5,000 of those captured.

Picture 1 shows the bombardment of French positions, picture 2 shows victorius Germans entering Munich.

War in the Balkans:
Battle involving conflicts in Rumania and Bulgaria, with other actions from the Black Sea and Ukarine.
21 April, 1902, 4:00 AM, Austrian Trenches, Serbia-Budapest.
With the sound of a whistle 200,000 men begin the march from Serbia to Bulgaria to flush out the Turks. It was said that Russian infantry would be there too, for support, and that the Black Sea fleet will also be in the action. 6:00 AM, first Austrians from southern wing reach Sofia unapposed, but Turkish artillery damage moral and flesh from outside the city. 8:00 AM, nothern wing of Austrians gets to Varna, but there are no Russians. The Turks abandoned the position to a more favorable one near Burgas and divide their forces, one goes north an one defends the position, with a line of Bunkers, machine gun nests, and trenches. The Austrian southern wing makes it there, but halts to allow the Russian Black Sea Fleet to shell the defenses. 3:00 PM. Finally the northern wing makes it just as the bombardment stopped. An assault is launched, and although Austria takes 12,000 casaulties, the Turks suffer 10,000 and falls back towards Constantinople. The southern wing, with amazing speed, cuts them off. The Turks, surrounded, surrender their 80,000 men. It was a great Austrian Victory, but where was Russia and the other Turkish forces?
7:00 AM, Rumania. Under the cover of fog Austrian forces, 100,000 men, plung into Rumania, hitting Bachau and then heading south towards Bucharest. The Russians are taken completely by surprise. The small forces in the north flee towards the main Russian force in Bucharest. The Russian commander was about to go into Bulgaria, but then digs a defense line around Bucharest. The Austrians attack, taking 7,000 casaulties to the Russian 10,000, but do not make any progress. Then a rogue Turkish force attacks the rear of Bucharest, inflicting another 10,000 casaulties to their 5,000. But the Austrians withdraw not telling the Turks, and they find themselves surrounded by Russians. They surrender their remaining 55,000 men.
Meanwhile, in Ukarine, another Austrian force of 200,000 men takes Kiev unapposed and may swing north to Moscow or Warsaw!

Picture 1 shows Austrians in Ukarine, picture 2 shows the failed Austrian attack of Bucharest, the third shows Turkish men marching into southern Rumania.
