It's true... Before I started this site, I used to explore around the web and discover new and cool sites (and there are lots of them out there) everyday. After I started this site I found myself exploring alot less and spending a large percentage of my online time on CivFanatics. :crazyeye:

I guess that's what happens when you have a "home" on the cyberspace and are no longer a nomad... :scan:

Almost size 3. I think we can build a settler now. ;)

Could be just a time factor due to the major commitment to the site.

I can think of a loose analogy with life cycle events. Before one gets married, buys a home and has children, one tends to wander much more and be more adventurous because of the available free time and lack of the major responsibilities of home-making.

Still I'd reckon stability and contentment would not be a bad trade-off for adventure. Of course this need not be a permanent condition. Once the "kid" grows up there's time to catchup on travel and other adventurous pursuits. :)

This is my true home alright, I could live here forever, but I have a different home, unfortunately, one that involves Grade 12, and School, and no fun. I MUCH prefer this world.

I cannot wait for summer . . .

I still go off to look for stuff occasionally, but true, I do spend a lot of time here in the forums...

Nomad is not what I used to to. Used to hang out at two sites, throught now a days I hardly go there. Can't see how I could enjoy sites without a forum.

Of course, this world lacks proper feeding centers. ;)

I still visit other sites, particularly during the day, at work, when I can't get here, but it seems my old surfing habits are long gone. If I *can* get to CFC, I do. And once I do, most other surfing goes out the window. It takes an effort of will to open a browser window somewhere else. ;)

I post on a online triumvirate of good civ sites.

This is one of them.

But my gibberish is restriced to OT here. :)

It has made me less adventurous too. It's too adictive, and I'm sueing! ;)

See you in court!
Lefty will be the defence lawyer, backed up by FredLC!

Run for yer life!

Well, lets just look at the cronology of events and I'm not afraid of Lefty... I'm too stupid to know when to give up and can be secure in the knowledge that I will eventually wear down my oponents :D

Thunderfall (admin?) has acknowledged that he is fully aware of the damage to health his product can cause, and despite knowing this, has failed to post a public warning where everyone can see! ;)

I'm charging the organisation with professional negligence

I post at other sites more than I post here thesedays.

If I want to muck around and just be silly I post elsewhere but if I look for a debate or a more broadened point of view then I will post here..... but I am more silly than I am serious ;)
But this is the place I come to for civ related stuff.
