If $1.49 wasn't good enough for you, how about $0?

This offer is valid for 48 hours and provides a Steam product key for Windows. Humble Bundle was recently bought by IGN, so if you don't already have an account be aware that creating one, or linking it directly to your Steam account, will make that information available to IGN.

I just got this one but I already own Civ III on both GOG as well as the physical disks/CDs so here is the 'Gift' link for any who need a copy and either miss the Humble Bundle offer (expires in like 30 hours or so I think) or for whatever reason cannot use Humble Bundle:

Of course this will only work for the first person to do this.

Sweet, forwarded it to a friend who somehow doesn't have Civ3 yet. I might actually wind up playing some multiplayer Civ3 as a result of this since he's one of my top multi-player buddies and plays mostly strategy.

Cool. I was not sure about this when I posted the 'Gift link' but he may, for all I know - have to get an (free) account at Humble Bundle or he might just have to enter his email to claim it.

I have a bad habit of sometimes doing things before I read all of the instructions about how to do them.

Grabbed it. But is there any legal way to play this without having to install whole steam client? This would be ideal on my travelling laptop/tablet hybrid, but I can't really spare room for whole Steam client...

Hm. Although...an idea...I do not use Steam much, is there a way to store saves on cloud so they could be played on multiple devices from same Steam account?

Well you can do that yourself by uploading your Saves folder, but there does seem to be a Backup Game Files option in Steam.

Steam discussions is exploding with posts of game issues... but good news is the Serverlist is full of lobbies once again.

Awesome. I haven't played Civ3 since 4 came out, so this is going to bring back a lot of fond memories.

I've forgotten sooo much. It's almost all new to me again.
