Yeah, I miss the days too, the YoGPoD was the best and Shadows of Israphel was great. I don't enjoy watching Simon and Lewis' videos anymore whereas I still enjoy the collaboration such as the civ games. The suggestion I made was in reference to Season 10 LIVE of their Civ series, Lewis is normally the best at civ but completely failed this game and proceeded to get intensely drunk. I recommend watching the series it is extremely funny, even though it was during the broken multiplayer update so Barbarians and City States were off.

As far as I could tell, it's rather in an advanced stage. They decided to release the civs separately rather than in a pack, though. I'm not sure about it - I don't have any obvious skill to share, as I wanted to try my hand at Civ5 modding again through this, since last I modded was back in the vanilla period

Has there ever been mention of an Arabia split? I've thought about an idea of something like that, utilizing the four caliphates (Rashidun, Umayyad, Fatimid, Abbasid)

The Grand Principality of Greater Europe has indeed claimed Spain. Anyway, I could just put all the plans here. But I won't, you'll have to go over to the Greater Europe Thread, where I'll do a partial giveaway of the uniques day-by-day.
In all seriousness, it's not too far ahead, but certainly off the ground. I'll get to posting the ideas at some point, though I'd be willing to join forces with more people for it. Bane has been a fantastic help on the Lua, COF has been an art god for this, and just wait until you see Regalman's Asturias map.
Pedias/possible translations to espanyol are also needed *hint hint*.
Also, if the Spain Split ever gets released, I may well be looking to do/help on another one, so that's a thing.
