BCLG, seeing as the LAOD has been at war with you for decades, can I safely declare war on you at the begining of this next turn without breaking 5-turn?

speaking of breaks, does anyone else have finals anytime soon? A break from playing on the week of Jan 14th would be welcomed by me
I could just hand it over to a replacement like VRWC, but I have the strangest feeling I'd return from finals to find a stack of riflmen at the palace doors

Color me in for "can play" - and given that no one is actually needing a break (BCLG, I assume you can get HAK to fill in for you?), I'm going with "no break". However, I'm pretty amenable to 6AM EST on the 24th to 6AM EST on the 26th (as is happening in the CivIVor Warlords), and if anyone finds they end up needing it after all, speak up.

Although we know what we're getting into when we sign up for a game like this, I do pretty much agree with BC on this. I know I'm out for a bit, but this is just my two cents...for what it's worth.

that's a pretty persuasive argument. I think that unless the LAOD suddenly rampages over BCLG's territory and knocks him out of the game (or peace is swiftly declared) we not continue to play while a significant player is at war.
