Do we get some kind of Advantage for joining the 'True Tribes'?

I've Decided I'll join the Fire Tribe. May all the barbarians of the world be defeated by our warriors!

Ummmm..... the advantage of focusing on one victory condition instead of two?

Game will start when we've got people signed up for at least 7 of the tribes. So far we've got 5 with at least 1 more still deciding.

So, for example, if i play as Volcano tribe means i need to try to aim that two first PVs will be Domination AND Culture, and end victory will be one of them as well?

That's the goal, but you still have a chance to win if you got the the 1st PV and then get the 3rd or 4th. (and by win I'm talking about 1st place here)

If you get Domination and Culture as the first two, then the Volcano tribe wins on either a Domination or a Cultural victory.

But say that the first PV is Domination and the 2nd Science. Now the Boiling Seas win on either a Science or Domination victory. If you then complete the cultural PV 3rd, you need to get the cultural victory to win, because the Boiling Seas win on Domination. Likewise, the Infernos still have a chance to win if they complete the Diplomatic PV 4th, but they have to win the game on Diplomatic victory, cause Domination victory goes to Boiling Seas.

So, we're up to six players. I'm still hoping for a few more. Been PM'ing some players from past games to see if anyone is interested in coming back for another. We'll give them a few days to see if anyone responds. Game will start this weekend with whoever we got. I'll get the starting map posted in the next day or two so those signed up already can start plotting and planning.

Hrm... I'm a bit busy ATM in real life, so I'll need to sit out the initial period, but I might sign up later on, it'll depend on what the RL situation is though. I'd also like to see the attack / defence process a bit, I'm not so sure about it.
