Ok, I'll try your valididity stuff. Everything else I said being forgotten, because I was on a stupid tirade.
Australlia and many other countries in WWI made barely any influence into the war, yes the Aussies (thanks for the spelling correction) did take Jerusalem, but If I recall never had any influence on the Treaty of Versailles. Sure they met, but the real decision making was left in the hands of Britian, America, France and Italy(who jumped on the Ally bandwagon before the end of the war). Frankly at that time, nobody cared about Jerusalem, this wasn't the crusades, it was WWI in Europe.
Australlia was never united until the white man, that is true, but Australlia was a prison colonie most of the time! That is were they got their accent though, and that's why I used to think that Australlia was in Britain when I was little.
Australlia only existed as a unified country because a bunch of criminals that were over flowing the British jail cells were shipped there.
Australlia never really helped out with The League of Nations after WWI, the voting being left to the Western countries. I guess you could call them western in nature, but heck now the've become more and more socialistic, sure a little socialism is good, but when it starts to become socialisstic things like the crazy video game banning groups start popping up. Now when I said "It let's you play God", I was referring to what many people that just flat out hate vidoe games come up with for strategy games. Sure, shooting games are violent and some games are cult like, but strategy games becomes a road blok so they use the word GOD to spark a fire, it worked with Margim. I gues it works.
The Sydney Opera house is a pretty cool building, but if they put that in Australia would definetly follow. Australlia would be fun to put into a mod and put in the Opera house, but the regular version would, be kind of boring. Too many modern age countries and everybody has modern age UUs and an enhanced Modern Armor or Mech Infantry makes that country incredablly strong late in the game.
As for Czech Republic, I have nothing against the Czech Republic, I just find too many modern age countries hurt the game.
The country I would add though is Macedonia, heck they took over Greece and Persia, there's conflict resolution for you! Of course the Persian wars were over then, but heck it still works.

Buth the importance of both countries during the last 75 years is rather comparably insignificant. Same number of inhabitants, same economical power, export of agricultural products, mediocre musicians and cool actors. (I like the Terminator movies, really. But I don't like Falco or AC/DC or Kylie). And Great Opera Houses.

maybe you guys are right. australia as a modern day nation maybe shouldnt be in there, but the aborigines(?) i think should be in there. as should the assyrians, belgium, mexico, and certainly more african tribes. also, india should have its own architecture. i hate how their buildings look japanese.

Italy isn't Rome. Play in a world map with modern civs in conquests (Germany, France, England, Holland, Spain, Portugal, Austria) and you'll find that Italy is empty.

Inca is more Peru and Ecuador than Chile and the Iroquois just stretched into Canadian territory, but were mostly in America if I remember correctly. BTW: I always believed Italy should be a civ, they are much different than the ancient Romans and just should be in! What do you, Rhye, think their uu would and should be?
