Started a pbem on civ 4 once but it died. Seems that pbems are alive and well in Civ III
but not so popular here. If anybody is interested in starting one PM me and we'll start a thread. Don't mind what type of game.

Hey all, I am keen on a PBEM game, used to play quite a few with CivIII. Am keen for a Civ IV PBEM game, based in Australia GMT +10. Unable to PM people at the moment I think until I get to 5 posts. Hope to hear from some keen people. Played a fair bit of Civ IV over the years but not multiplayer, although know the deal through playing CivIII PBEM.

Looking For: Any game. I have Warlords and BtS. I'd like to play a "Fall from heaven" mod game too.

Location: GMT+1 (France)
Game Experience: I've been playing since Civ1. I'm not very with all of BtS because I played only "Fall from Heaven 2" mod for a while.
I only played solo, usually with Monarch/Marathon/Normal size.
Favorite Civilizations: I like to change, and to play in character.
Game style : Slow expansion, high culture and science. I usually end up with domination anyway, because it is the easiest way.

Communication: Mail and/or PM in this forum.
Substitution Availability: Eager to do that.

I have been coming to these forums on and off to read stuff but just realised I could use them to try and find actual people to play with. I'm a genius. Would like to play a PBEM game. I am a novice thoug, I play solo games on warlord (I said noble before but I got mixed up), so be warned (or be excited about an easy win).

Looking for: Anything really, I have BTS which is what I always play solo. Also just got RoM and FFH but haven't even tried them yet.

Experience: Played since Civ I, but still not very good at it!

Warlord singleplayer mostly, won some harder in quick duels just to remind myself that i could do better if i was in to training (and i'm not, i'm :lazyashell: ), so do not be intimidated by the timespan...

i a greenhorn coming from the RTS world AOE/RON. i just crushed the game on noble. tho i admit sometimes things were happening and i didnt understand why ( sure this will be learned in time). about to start a game on prince. now that i have beat the game at its most basic level i feel i'm ready to step in2 the real game what i got this game for. TO PLAY LIVE HUMAN PLAYERS.

i've checked out the internet lobby on gamespy seems a bit hard to get a game i have a really weak internet connection at times. also ever1 there wants to play a blazing game almost turn it in to a RTS. i understand time restrains and things like that but i dont feel the game was meant to be played like that. so that leaves me w/ what seems to be a great option a game via email.

looking for players of all skill level bcuz being crushed is part of learning but i'm a little confused how to start is there a guide some1 can point me to.

been playing since Civ 1. I have BTS 3.19. never played multi-player, always been a casual civ player, setting obscure goals for myself and trying to attain them. I pretty much play civ every day. I am looking forward to expanding my horizons and joining a group who enjoy the game as much as I do. I will probably need a little help in getting started with getting the multiplayer part going, but can be relied upon to not drop out of a game.

I enjoy most of the civs. Anyone interested in giving a cruit to multi-player a shot?
