That was with version 1. When I found and installed version 2, it worked, as stated above. I believe we've established that the function GetRouteGoldTimes100() is replaced in BNW - hence the error message.
 
I see, so that was v.1. But sounds like even that worked, or at least you were able to dismiss the phantom box.

Anyway if I'm understanding right sounds like that error message is not related to the problem I'm having.
 
If you are using V2, and you are still having the problem, I suggest you enable logging in the config.ini file (/Users/<your_user_name>/Documents/Aspyr/Sid Meier's Civilization 5/config.ini) &#8230;

There is something strange with your setup... those lines of code should not generate any error, there is no problem in the code, and in fact, they do not generate errors in other setups (including Mac setups, as seen above for Alan).

Are you sure you completely emptied/deleted your cache? Including the ModUserData folder?

Bingo. In Macland at any rate the ModUserData folder is not inside the cache folder. So now I dumped that as well as the cache, re-validated Steam files... and now it appears to be working fine!

I did a test using CEP 3.9 with CivWill and as rported in post 49 they seemed not to be compatible. Id love a fix!

Just tested using the communitas pack version 3.9.3 and CivWillads version2 (no other mods, cache+logs cleared prior to launch).

As mentioned in post 49 I get a half visible CivWillard screen on the screen upon starting the game.

The following lua.log is from the test. The first error comes when the game starts and the second when I select "Close" in the messed up CivWillard screen.

Yes, CEP has something odd going on with regards to CivWillard... I talked to Thalassicus many months ago about this issue to try and solve it, but we did not advance very far. It came to the point that I renounced using CEP anymore; CivWillard is more important to me, and of you ask me, CEP does some changes that I do not like, even with the "UI-only" part, so it was not a difficult decision for me.

I have very little time, so I am not sure if I will tackle this specific issue. Anyone that is keen to experimenting with lua is welcome; if he/she solves it, credits will go to that person.

Starting point is the CEP lua code --> it's pretty clear that CEP is causing the problem.

P.S.: you can also try to "press" Thal into reviewing his code. NOw he has a team, and probably know their own code much better. It's hard for me to blame CivWillard for this when it works fine with almost everything out there, so I think the fix should come from the CEP's side.
 
skodkim, I highly recommend that when you have incompatibilities with any other mod with Communitas that you file the report in the Communitas bug report forums. I found the error and fixed it here.
 
CivWilliard has been working great. Now a weird problem... I was repositioning one of the windows when I inadvertently hit the Move Button button for the Major Civ window. Then in trying to reset the button on the bottom of the screen I seem to have lost it! I must have moved it off the edge of the screen, but it has disappeared completely, and I've been unable to find it. I've tried changing resolutions, opening older saves, etc. but it always opens with just the other two buttons.

Any ideas to find it or reset its position?
