ClassicIOT: Cold War

Let us not forget that the province of Vienna is the homeland of the great Austrian Monarchy, which deserves to be recreated once more with the help of the Volkerbund.

There are many monarchies that have fallen due to the lack of support from the common people and church. They do not deserve their rule if their own populace denies them it, which the Austrians have. Which most modern nations have.

Which was caused due to external reasons, i.e Austria losing the war. It was never because of direct hatred from the Austrians towards the Habsburgs.

The Soviet Union would propose a compromise to Prussia:

a.) The SSRB will annex Vienna, with support from Soviet, Italian, and Polish forces.
b.) The SSRB will demilitarize the border with Prussia and allow for international monitors

Prussia will accept the terms of the agreement.

The Peking Federation maintains that a state of war exists between the pretender forces of the new Yuan Dynasty and the Peking Federation until such time that those who orchestrated the brazen attack on Peking can be brought to justice for crimes against humanity including the needless bombing of civilian infrastructure and launching a war of aggression.

We will carry out this war to a natural conclusion.

Yuan would not have harmed their citizens; the terrorists must be framing us for their misdeed! We will show the world the evidence would we have crushed the terrorist scum! Our war was done to restore order to China; it is the terrorists who started the fire!

Democratic nations of the world, we, the nation Hollywood openly ask the support to defend the Texans of fascists. Any help is appreciated.

<24 hour warning.

Farsight and Bair will be permanently removed from play if they miss orders again.

Since I'm sure we all read the update, the fact people are sending me orders using a 5 IP cost for factories is just a joke I assume.

To be fairrrr you should probably update the front page.

The front page already says that factory costs increase by 1 IP per DEFCON level.

he DEFCON meter is adjusted based on global tension levels. Each rise in the DEFCON level increases factory costs by 1 IP, and decreases trade income.

Country Details:

Delhi-Lahore is a presidential republic, its two major political parties are religious, Muslim and Hindu, and keep a check on each other and the president through the legislature. Most powers though reside in the president, who is elected every 8 years. There is a strong expectation that the party that has previously held the office will not submit a candidate for the next election (such that the country is ruled by a Hindu, then a Muslim, on repeat), so most of the democracy of the country is within each party, rather than without.

The Delhi-Lahore Republic became independent during generalized anarchy of British exit. The country's current leader is Mohammed Khan, of the country's Muslim party, and has 4 years remaining in his term.

Delhi has 21 IP spendable this turn if you wish to send in orders this turn. Otherwise, your 21 IP will be banked for next turn.

My wrists issued a complaint to the office of the mental interior, so I thought I share the message.

A failed economic role leads to a new country popping with cores and everything. In order to cute down on a bunch of 1IP crap, if economic rolls next to each other (such as if you failed a roll on both Sweden and Norway), the new country will be unified under one core and will *not* be a minor power (still sphereable, but not annexable). Only OPM minors can be sphere-annexed except under certain circumstances as they arise.
