Combined Civilization's Mods and Tweaks (CCMAT)

Really enjoying this compilation. Is it save-friendly? I upgraded to the newest version and my England on Shigg's Earth save loads but it got fairly laggy with some end-turn stuttering. Also, when I build a harbor in my capital of London I got a message saying that I lost two trade routes, one in Nottingham and one in York, the two nearest cities to London that I connected.

One bug I found:
I get techs for free from time to time. While I was researching pottery and then calendar, I was gifted mining and bronze working... And I really cant figure out, where that came from thogh :)

I can confirm this as well. I was thinking it might be since I had some cooperation agreements with AI's.
 
tried another game right now. while playing about 30 minutes and discovering maybe 4 techs alone, I got provided with about 10 techs for free, sometimes 3 at a time.

the AI seems to get techs for free, too. One turn I got 5 messages saying "The [blabla]-Empire has reached the medival age".
 
To disable this free techs just delete Tech Diffusion from ModMods :) As I can see on higher difficulty this mod is unbalanced because it gives to much free techs. I'll make it configurable from config.lua and disabled by default on next version.

Is it save-friendly?
I'm recommending to start a new game:)

BTW Did someone trying to customizing UI with config.lua ? :)
 
I deleted the Diffusion mod after I posted last and that fixed it. Also, does anyone have trouble with saving their game? I can usually only save on the steam cloud.

Yeah, I've been having this problem with any game with mods, even if it's only one. I think this problem is on Firaxis's end.
 
Which mod should i delete to have old power of units. (i kinda like steamrolling all with 5 units :) )

and does it include slower research for marathon games? (if not which one should be compatible with this mod)

I noticed also that if I move a unit to attack an enemy unit that's 2 tiles away and my attack path leads through a city tile, my unit will stop moving on the city and I have to move it again. I'm thinking it's an intentional design choice but I can't be sure.
 
It had a bug in v1. V2 should be working correctly now. ;)

Is v2 in this mod? Really want to play this now but not till that big bug is squashed, and it says v1 in the first post

The same thing is when you moved through a goody hut :) I'm not sure is it possible to change in LUA.

I don't remember that any mod included change unit strength but active defence mod increases defense of walls and other buildings.

does it include slower research for marathon games? (if not which one should be compatible with this mod)
Yes, new game paces are available from advanced setup on set up game screen. If you want you can also use another mods to change game speeds. In this modpack I don't make any changes to marathon speed but I have added NEW marathon and epic with faster build speeds.

No it's v1 here but maybe I'll release fixed next build tommorow, and I'll update all mods. :)
 
How do you delete the Diffusion mod?
