Command and Conquer 3

Remember the good old days when you could build walls across all the map and put down turrets in tiberium fields and the like? ahhh memories

I rather enjoyed Tiberian Sun as well, not as much as the others but it was still good. rather underrated in my opinion

I know it is early, but what would you all like to see in the inevitable expansion pack?

Something akin to Generals Zero Hour ala Tiberium General, Tank general and so on. Also of course the end to the goddamn story. Inconclusive ends ftl.

Tiberian Sun was a very crappy game, I was there was a skirmish added to it, then I would like it.

I hope you aren't saying Starcraft wasn't a pile of crap..........

Yep. Warcraft 3 sucks too.

I mean, they are still patching it as of this year. I'm surprised people still play it.

Got it on release date, its fun but I had more fun with RA 1 then this so far.
The missions are great, but well.....they aren't hard. And they're always anti-climatic. Oh no NOD have a nuke.....again. Oh no Kane is holed up in his temple....again. But I suppose its less about NOD vs GDI and more simply about the Scrim. I miss the mission completed and mission lost CGI cutscenes, heck I don't even get many mission briefing cutscenes.

As for Tiberium Sun, the units were great(tunneling APC anyone?) but the missions and everything else was kinda lacking. Even the graphics were subpar

Starcraft was good....but....

I'm still waiting for a RTS in which winning or losing a mission/battle actually affects the game. No more wimply redoing the mission over and over and over till you finnaly finnish it.

LIke a branching campaign or more like a strategy over-game (like the Total War serires)?

Yeah you can kind of get that with the Total War games but I think I understand what you're really after.

They've been toying with the whole idea of Dynamic-Gaming for years now, I keep reading news items every now and again where a company claims their next game will 'go further than the rest' but most fail. Do you mean you're looking for a game like C&C but if you loose than that affects how the story goes, different cut scenes for different results and what not? The main problem with that is there is always too many different variables to take into effect to make it truely dynamic, but I'm sure soon there will be games coming out soon which try to emproach on the idea.

Still waiting for C&C to come out for the 360 :( not long to go now.....

they have somthing like that in starcraft i believe u hit custom game then campaign start on mission one and depending on which objectives u fulfill you move on to a certain one. the crappy parts: HARD AS HELL, only does this on mission one and depending on which objectives you complete on mission one chooses the rest of the 5 mission campaign.

The big problem with being able to do branching or skipping campaign games is that the developers create content for the game (this is very expensive - for a game like CNC3 millions of dollars) that may not be seen. Most publishers are loathe to waste their money on that (with good reason).

I'm kinda hoping they don't make a third Generals game, I just didn't like it as much nor did I feel as attached to it as the others
