Space manipulation testing station seems a bit underpowered, getting perhaps 1 more great scientists that late in the game is completely useless.


Would it be possible to give late era units more hp? Seems a bit silly that a Fusion tank can be bombarded to death by a pack of industrial era machinegunners from 70% to 0% in one turn. Although I do admit I was being a bit reckless with it... :p


Another thought I had was in the AI department: As the AI is terrible at utilizing it's gold reserves, wouldn't it be better to have it not spam everything with trade posts and build some more lumbermills in particular?

Im not sure on this, if tis possible I reckon it would be with lua, since editing unit HP in defines sets all units hp from the start.

Try with CCTP 1's System and Epic speed mod, I have some AI tweaks in epic speed mod(which needs the 1's system to function right) which tells the AI to spend spend spend, on all manner of things.

Actualy wait on trying the 1's, have an update for it that I still need to test a few things on, should be ready next couple hrs.

Updated 1's System see here. Included the AI changes, so you dont have to use Epic Speed just for that.
 
Have started an epic speed game with the 1's system earlier on. Apart from the graphic presentations things have been running smoothly, although I have just researched the necessary tech for "monastic schools" And you have overlooked this one. It looks like it is still needs 5x hammers to build and 5x upkeep... Also it has it's science bonus removed??
The farrier, armorer and leather worker buildings also still has 5x upkeep by the looks of it.

They have high maintenace due to the bonus's they give.

That I shall look into, since its in Epic Speed mod its an easy enough fix, an sinc eim on the verge of releasing a new version of Epic Speed mod, perfect timing :)

Ah, the science, I changed it to 2 base science(to match what i intended to add to museum) and forgot to chnage the text to reflect that. All Fixed will be in v15 of Epic Speed Mod.

D: changed the system from 1 to 5 , while he was lazy:crazyeye: to find the right balance with the massiv modification(from CTP), he said it would be easier to manage with this system. Since he is gone, and the 1S will come back (because of the limitations of CiV dll) we just have to find a way to issue this problem.
Also is the IGE Mod working with CCTP and that is more than perfect to tweak the fixes we need.

I dont understand what you mean by problem? What problem?
I have also changed CCTP back to the 1's system you can find it here. I am still hoping Firesforever may surface soon, since hes been absent for a month or so now, same for Nathanglevy.

Working - no. Or at least not officially. I have plenty of ideas, but most of the people I started this with have moved on due to school, other interest, or general RL. I am still watching this thread (and the other big mods). My hope, and I'll admit that it is a bit of a long shot, is that more modders will flock to CiV after the DLL. Hopefully, they will find this mod and offer to help. Until then, I know that this mod is in Horem's very capable hands. :D

BTW, I'm going to look at the 1 system this weekend. Great work on the conversion. :)

While I have something like 10 sources of gold...
With the amount of medieval age buildings and units that require especially iron, it makes it's use limited to units only and obsoletes the buildings...

Look here, its called More Map Types, follow instructions to the letter.

Iron and copper seems to be really really scarce in my current game, while gold is incredibly abundant.
I'm the second largest civ covering 5.590.000 km2, but only control 1 source of both, fortunately with 7 units in each. Bad luck?

All depends on settings tbh, Map Size, Resource setting, number of civs/cs's its all taken into account when generating resources, thats if your using More Maps Types, if not then I recommend you do :).

Just that Advanced Robotics Plant remains expensive to construct but all other buildings actully have a decent construction time :).

I'll adjust the hammer cost on Advanced Robotics Plant to be a bit more inline. On the graphics, my best guess is yes, I have only ever gotten to the modern age once outa prolly 100 started games, I do belive alot of art is missing from this mod.

Hmm, I would have thought you would have more Iron on a giant map. Or maybe a region sparse iron area of the map.

All 3 types. But abundan or above setting is only a minor changes form 1-3 to 2-3 on most Luxuries. More(2-5) in what AssignStartingPlots thinks is a resources "Native Area".

I have been having a problem with the resource Monopoly wonders. Even though it says it has a prerequisite of 2 huge buildings, it actually takes three before the pre-requisite is made. I went to the xml files and change the prerequisite to 1 to test, and I was able to build a monopoly wonder with only one huge building. Anybody else having this issue?

Yup. Dunno whats causing it either.
 
Government ideologies -> Socialism claims to give 10 hammers per mine... I'm guessing it should only be 2?

Have also researched the necessary tech for tanks, but can't build auto-plant at all. So no tanks for me :( (Edit: oh need combustion!)

Also experiencing the problem with monopoly buildings... I currently have 4 huge copper smelters, but it still says I need to build two more in order to start the copper monopoly.

14.400.000km3 land just discovered aluminium and got 3 sources with 3,3 and 7 unites respectably. So the resource scarcity does not limit itself to iron only.

Lancers need an upgrade route? Also I think chariot archers should upgrade to artillery instead of knights. As their upgrades are completely useless for a knight. The very first artillery was pulled along by horses too, so it would make sense historically as well.

Arsenal still has 5x upkeep
