Community Patch - How To Install

Hello
Сan you tell me if the Community Patch is compatible with the InfoAddict mod?
Hello, I often play "(1) Community Patch only" (i.e. not "(2) Vox Populi"). I had no problems with "InfoAddict". There is also a slightly similar mod - "Global Relations" (not tested with CP).

Thank you. Do you know where you can read about what exactly these mods are changing?

I wonder if there will be localization
There were localization projects. However since VP was updated quite often back then, the project was discontinued.

Thank you. Do you know where you can read about what exactly these mods are changing?
VP overhauled the majority of the game so it's better to experience it yourself.

N.Core, thanks for the reply
I don't like the barbarians being too aggressive. Is it possible to set it somewhere without disabling it?
In the vanilla version of the game, the barbarians were not so aggressive

Sadly for some of the stuff, you can't change it since those are tied to DLL for smarter AI.

Hello

long time Civilization player (since the first one when I was 10 years old on my old 386 !), but I never took the time to create an account here despite spending hours reading the forum to learn about strategies or new features (I purchased Civ V on Steam 5 years ago).
I just want to say thanks for the amazing job done with VP. This is crazily good. The dedication to improve it continuously is mind-blowing, and really something you should be proud of.
I never even considered switching to Civ VI as VP gives me so much excitement. It's complex and rewarding, and each game brings novelty. This is such a major improvement from the base game, I could never go back.

So congrats, and many thanks to all the contributors.Amazing effort.

Hi, could you guys help me out?
I've just performed a clean install of my civ, downloaded the recommended autoinstaller, used the default option. 4 new mods appeared in my mod section. And the fun began...

If I enable all 4 of them, the game doesn't load. I get a black screen and errors saying resources are missing.

If I enable the top 3, the black screen again.

If I enable just the top 2, the game starts just fine. Played it a little, enjoyed new changes and then met some city states. I was unable to pledge protection but i could gift them 0 gold to improve my standing by 5. I did so 20 times. Yaaaay! We're allies.
Then I met Pacal the Featherbutt. Diploscreen was completely jumbled up. Diplomacy was impossible.

My guess is that I'm doing something horribly wrong installing VP + EUI (btw, what does EUI stand for exactly? I mean, the abbreviation. I have a hard time figuring it out despite having read a lot of the forum). It befuddles me beause the process seems more than straightforward yet I managed to mock it up somehow.

Help out a Civ veteran, guys. I remember playing this mod in its nascence and it was already great.

PS. I start a default game with only vassalage disables because I've hated it since civ4...

EUI stands for "Enhanced User Interface". If you have installed VP + EUI, then you also need to play with the (3) EUI mod activated, otherwise the game won't load correctly.

You have probably used the wrong folder for the UI files when installing the mod.

To find the correct one, go to Steam, right-click on Civ 5 and select "Show Local Files". The folder that opens up is the one you need to specify in the installer.

Oh, yeah, this had to be the case. Mod description told me to to use default settings and assured that it works flawlessly with steam. It does, but not when you move it around your system ;)
Simply had to move the files to my custom location and it works like a charm.
Thank you, @axatin

Hello, everyone
The resources are too rich, don't you think? It is necessary to expose rare ones in the settings at the beginning of the game

Flawed strategy therefore flawed mod. i exceeded the amount of units supported by my civilization.i ended up in a war with 2 ais and couldnt get out of a tit for tat war.
Saying that the ai is really good and far better than anything sid has given use in many many years. so well done. i think every 6th strike should have a boosted damge to break deadlocks.Or a promotion.it needs something.
But still great to play.

So, barbarian units and barbarian camps can spawn on terrain I have visibility on?

Like, why? Just to make the game much more annoying? How do I stop this from happening? Also, you took away one range of city defense (which is also very annoying), so how do I increase city defense range?

Great mod otherwise. Many really good changes. But had I knows barbarians would spawn like there is no tomorrow I would have unlocked the Authority tree immediately. I don't see how that is not the correct move every single game, since this amount of barbs and the culture you get when killing barbs will repay the cost of one policy many times over, it seems.

Hi
Will there be a separate manual for the Community Patch?
What would be all in one pdf or video
