I tried in the browser and then downloaded the client and tried again. Still doesn't work.

I'm also having the same issue not being able to download. I tried the MEGA client, and both IE and FF. Took a screenshot, just as a confirmation. Not sure why, but the download is borked currently.

If there are people that actually have (or can download) the latest version, can't they just upload it to another site (there are like a million free upload-sites) for those who can't use mega, instead of coming here just to rub it in their faces?

I'll take a look at the download issue. There was a big run on the mod on Saturday (spooky) that may have caused the errors.

Since it seems to work for some people, it is probably just mega messing with some ISPs or something like that, however an alternative download site would still be nice, if just to stop all the whining

Having issue with the congress, whenever I try to make a proposal to the congress the game crashes to the desktop. This is from a clean installation of Civ5 with the newest version of the patch, the game was also started on the newest patch.

Sounds like a bad install - please post to the bug reports thread so we can help.

And what if I am using Mac? I know there is manual installation, but this MEGA site doesn't work with Safari. It just don't want to download.

You can't use the DLL mod on a mac. You can emulate through WINE, but you can't natively use a DLL on OS X.
