Community Patch - Modpack (Multiplayer Compatible)

Make a map with communitas, save the map in your save menu, send that map to friend and then both load that.

Thanks but I was thinking of being able to generate a map every time I start a new game (not for multiplayer) ie being able to chose Communitas like you can chose any other map script at the start of the game. I find that using a modpack is much simpler and less time consuming than loading the mods and waiting for them to ''configure the game data'' every time I start up a game.

Is there a way to do that?

If not, I'll just start all the mods from the mod menu like I used to before I started creating modpacks.
 
So I read that there is a 7-27 beta version, but is there a more recent stable version than the 3-9 one in the original post?

I could have sworn I found one that was in May, but it's really tough to get the latest version if it's not in the OP.

Seems we get a desync when the turn ends after someone gets an ancient ruin (Goody Hut) , and the bonus from the ancient ruin changes.

So a lot early game.

oh PS. Amazing Mod and if the multiplayer aspect gets stable, I will most likly play this over the cartoon Civ 6

Right now barbarians appear to be causing constant desyncs, so try turning those off for a game. It's worked for my friends and I so far!
 
Played 10h++ with my gf this weekend. Barbarians off : 0 desync. That's more stable than the base game !

However I felt the tactical AI was not as good as in SP, I know it's weird, and it's probably not possible, but heh ^^'

Yes, ancient ruins are likely the main source of desynchs in my games. In particular, this happens when I get some bonus from ruins but my mate see that I got something different (i.e. I get tech but my mate see that I got unit upgrade).

Hello everyone. First of all thanks to everybody who worked/is working on Community Patch and other mods, packs, balance etc. Now, does anyone know if there is a stable version of Community Patch(Multiplayer Compatible) where AI Active Diplomacy is working ? I've found that a couple of months ago Gazebo wrote a post that he talked to JdH. Atm i am playing with my friend on MP_MODSPACK_5-21_EUI versio. For example AI is trying to offer embassy but we cannot see this offer, we can only see that it was probably offered since when you go to AI icon its colored with red. Would really appreciate for help :)

Ps. I know ancient ruins and barbarians are causing decyns and we turned them off. If anyone know if there's a fix for this i would apprecation some info as well :)
 
Outstanding bug:
- The "Beliefs" tab in Religion Overview constantly displays "There are no active beliefs", even though many pantheons have been found.
- Cannot found religion - no options available for Founder's Belief, etc.





Abovementioned problem still insists.


Any solutions PLZ???
 
Update: I see I do get the bonuses, they just dont show on screen or in the religion tab.

Who cares :) I only want it to work.

You could place the Communitas.lua in the main installation directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization V\Assets\Maps) where the other map scripts go. I don't know if there would be ill effects from it, but it's definitely selectable in single player that way.
 
Hello to everyone. This CPP is GREAT! I never knew it is exists. THank you guys.

Just one question. Is it possible somehow to play in it in hot seat? I tried to search but it is too much to read. So i confused.

As I understand it is possible to play online using SOME part of this CPP.....or not. Please help. THank you.

By the way. Tried to install it on Russian version. Almost everything works well with localization except description of Special civilization abilities and Social Policies.

I downloaded a translation for "More Luxuries" mod, and I don't know how to make this element of your pack work in my native language, and I want to know, how to make whole pack work in my language, can you help me?
 
You have to play in English, anyway.
 
hi guys. do anyone have problem with AI pasivity? im playing version without EUI on king diff. there were about 5 wars on me none initiated by me and AI just sit in her territory and didnt even try enter my territory. Even if they are statistialy stronger. any ideas?
 
The city banner doesn't seem to load anymore, which is weird because it worked when I used the mod through the mods menu instead. It only works again if I take the whole thing out! There's also an issue with the unit menu at the bottom left disappearing even if I click on units, but I don't have the time to replicate it atm

Are you using the multiplayer modpack? If you are new to the mod, it may be safer to try the standard autoinstaller first. (not saying the AI passivity is a bug in the MP modpack, just saying it might be safer to get everything working in the standard version first)

already done and playing king diff with Assyria about 130 turns. cant say anything about war pasivity yet bcoz world peace began even in 60 turn.i dont know about this. its rly weird watch shaka peacefully parked inside his borders. this mod little killing nation diversity, everyone is peacefull.
 
Are these files automatically updated to the latest version? I see a new version of CBP just came out on 8/18
