comparing civ 2 and civ 4

Smac or Alien Crossfire are the best games ever. Other than Civ. What I like in smac was the story line, sort of a continuation describing what happened when the civ spaceship reached Alpha Centauri.

Loved the unit workshop where you designed your own units. Like Vel's famous "peace frogs" , which were armored terraforming units.

Great game. Maybe not the smartest AI, but really fun to play. And that is kind of the idea.

In Civ2 I did love those advisors.
