I've been going through this thread for the past hour, brings home just how awesome computer/video game music has been over the years, as good as any other genre and uniquely tied to memories of great games from the past.

I don't know how Nintendo do it, but their music is so cheerful it's almost like an audio anti-depressant, i hear this and if i'm a little down i feel better immediately :)

All themes coming from the final world of the first Rayman-game; Candy Château. Beautiful and colourful world, and not to say delicious, with funny music to boot with it.

I particularly like the image in the video. The son has closed his eyes, but still looks very aware of the austere image of the father behind him...
