That hippopotatomus is really too cute to eat. The guy who posted it said he likes taking pictures of weird and funny-looking food, and then that turned up in his garden.

Fires... I just noticed that the traffic lights are still working.

More and more Canadian grocery stores are starting to look like this. A large container of American beef at Costco 2 days ago seemed largely untouched, while the meat right beside it was almost gone.

Canadians are more patriotic than you think, we just don't really show it until we have to. We can also be really stubborn and petty. Down with America, etc.

Yeah, that's basically what's been popping up more and more. Canadian shoppers are trying actively to seek out Canadian products if possible, and if not possible, to at least not buy American imports.

The wild thing is that this is also happening in Quebec. To get Quebecers to put up Canadian maple leaf flags all over the place and proclaim how proud they are to be Canadian just shouldn't have been possible.
