I'm fed up with all of this trash. My game was working earlier today and now all of a sudden I can't even use a mouse in the opening video, I have to ctrl-alt-delete only to get some visual studio 2010 debugger messeg which will then then me I need to reinstall vs2010 or something. I blame stwam please can anyone help. I meet minumum requirements.

That did nothing for the problem. It just infinitely loads new maps.

I think so. When I start a new game the leader screen infinitely loads and then the visual studio pop-comes up. If I click it, it crashes the game. If I don't it never loads. I removed visual studio from my computer, so now the pop-ups don't happen, but it still infinitely loads.

...hmm...the problem is totally new, and you've been able to load the game recently, or is the situation another?
In general, checking the integrity of the game files via Steam is somthing you should do.
Lowering the graphical settings (at least for testing purposes) might also make sense.

The game worked just last night.
The graphical settings are at the lowest. I'll try checking the integrity of the game files.

I allso have this kind of error. It usually come very often late in the game, but newer in the beginning of new game. So the bigger map and the more units the worse the situation gets.

Are you using a mod? In my case it turns out I was a complete and utter moron and the mod I was using had an error in the xml.
