on my toshiba satellite p200 running windows vista 32 bit with 2 GB of ram and a intel centrino duo cpu, game loads and gets to loading a map then crashes to my desktop

l have reduced graphics, enabled viewpoints and l have even tried to the 3 GB switch (but my computer didn't recognize the command)

so please help because this mod is awesome and l really want to play it

I don't think the 3GB switch is going to help unless you have 3 GBs. Try smaller maps, and if that doesn't work you'll have to get more memory and then try the 3GB switch.

yeah, i'd have to agree with Taxman, the main thing you need is a NEW PC with X64 bit, that seems like am old PC to me:blush: But with prices for memory the way it it, it you dont have the bucks for now, just buy 1 stick of memory(2GB) for now, should not run you more than $20.00 at the most. If not then this is too much of a HUGE mod then, sorry.:(

You could also check out R2R which is a cut-down version (see modmods sub-section)

My old PC was a Satellite 205 with 3 GB of RAM and it could barely run C2C sometimes. So I'd say that you are probably out of luck, although R2R may work for you.

I can tell you that the 3GB switch actually still helps if you have less than 3GB of ram. I'd thought it would not either but it did help my wife's silly old laptop to play C2C (then again it was a while ago that we stopped using it for that and since C2C may be now too large to even be saved by a 3GB switch!)
