Outrage at EU-US Emergency Summit
President Mordhiem left his security bunker in the Alps as soon as the shocking news of US nuclear proliferation was announced. His team arrived via Concord in Washington D.C. 6 hours later and were locked into talks for nearly 3 days. The exact details of the meeting are classified, but it is understood that on more than one occasion President Mordhiem led his team out of the negotiating room in protest. Immediatley after the talks were over, the President, looking severly drained, gave a short speech on the steps of the White House to a baying crowd of photographers and pressmen we repeat here in full:
"The EU is firmly against any nation possesing nuclear weapons of any kind, even those that are considered non-hostile. It is my duty to protect the welfare of the citizens of the European Union and in order for me to guarentee their protection, I feel it is necessary for me to prevent any agression between nation involving weapons of mass destruction. The new administration has at least been open about their nuclear weapons program, but being truthful is not a luxury, it is expected, it will score them no points. I came to this country with hopes of resolving this difficulty at speed, but developments out of my hands have altered my acheivable goals. President Smith and I had many disscussions on the most apparent subjects and I must say that I was severley dissapointed in their outcome. President Smith assured to me that the nuclear arsenal was in the best interests of the United States and that under no condition would it be dismantled. After much arguement, President Smith also gave his assurance that no nuclear attack would proceed immediatley, but could not guarentee this policy would continue in the future. The EU finds this opinion to be despicable and does not tolerate any kind of support for weapons of mass destruction, henceforth all diplomatic representitives have been recalled back to Brussells immediatley. Trade embargos have been placed upon the USA and any freight in transit will be turned around and distributed internaly. I merley ask you to remember something that President Smith seems to have forgoten, something that I said when I took office:
The EU seeks world-wide nuclear disarmerment and preperations for standing down of european stockholds have already begun. We will view any nation procceding with Nuclear Proliferation as a direct threat to the European Union and actions to neutralise that threat will be taken accordingly. President Morhiem insists that no country, no matter how large or powerful they think they are, would do well not to tread on EU interests.
Thank you, goodnight. May god be a willing defender for all of us."
Indian Army Defeated in Valiant Attack
Spy planes picked up a large group of Indian armour with heavy air suppport moving towards Baghdad from Indian Iran. President Mordhiem had hoped that the announcement of nuclear weapons in the US had meant that the Indian leadership would change there mind, but duly orderd them to be eliminated. 2 elite paratrooper batalions were scrambled and paradroped right into a ferocious battle with enemy tanks. The tanks were eliminated, but the lack of avaliable air support meant that the Indian aircraft were able to continue unharmed.
