For me, it was feeding this poor worker to the sharks. I find myself unable to sleep at night because I kept thinking of how its family would have felt at the loss of their child through unnecessary baiting.:(

Last night when I played my (as it feels) never ending game with Theodora I signed a DP with the tiny little culture land called Sweden. Although I had nothing to gain from this treaty or?
The Greeks attacked me as I have been told they would (edit: i.e. the intrigue worked for once), but Sweden was in the way and now the Greeks was at war with me and Sweden. The Greeks took over three of the four Swedish cities and I ...
... took them back (and kept them of course) from the evil Greek and also three more cities that once was Babylon that the Greeks had taken out (I didn't liberate him).

The best part with this story is that all the other AIs started to hate the Greek because of his DoW against me.

I wiped out entire civilizations solely to watch the effectiveness of my nuclear arsenal after my people left earth to colonize the universe.

Nuking Moscow every turn. Completely obliterating several American cities off the map with nuclear subs. Bombarding Indian workers with highly-promoted battleships. And some other things I can't remember.

Wargames :p ^?

Hey, I just read your thread. It is quite good :goodjob: .

As for cruel stuff..... I banished my GA from my lands to explore. He was dead 2 turns later.... :sheep: ( I love this sheep ! )

As Arabia, with a hilariously high amount of money, I went to purchase the quaint city of Hull from Elizabeth, which was located on an island close to (and opposite to) London. I then proceeded to buy 1 destroyer and 8 nukes in that city.
London burned next turn and was belonging to yours truly at that point.

I've done some cruel stuff during my Civ career, and my current game was no exception.

I'm playing Babylon in an Emperor game, and I'm at war with Monty, who I also share borders with.
Suddenly I spot my best mate Hiawatha got a Great Prophet heading for my lands, through Montys.

Solution: Ask Hiawatha to join my war against the Aztecs. He agrees, and an Aztec spearman captures the Iroquois Great Prophet the very next turn.

Brilliant :king:

In multiplayer, capture somebody's capital whose going for a cultural victory, build over all their GP sites with trading posts, then hand it back

You mean I'm not the only one?!? <whew> I feel a little better, now...

More or less, i stopped Russia when i nuked all his ship parts in 1 turn right when he was about to launch :goodjob:

I was nuking his ass every 3-4 turns in his other cities but last shot was close enough(i settled a city close enough right on time).

He almost won...but i missplayed some turns i should have been quicker. That was a nice game to learn some atomic era tactics, thing that i very rarely do against human players(i always win or die before that time). He teched pretty hard all the time, stayed with 3 cities and built a bunch of wonders(hubble too). I reached 16 cities(engulfing 2 civs) when i fought him.

Likely story : Small civs can rarely stand against huge empires.

I bribed the Mongols to attack Germany with some Dye. The Mongols lost.

I felt cruel for sending a 1 rank Spy called Charlotte (so I presumed a woman) into a high security Nation in desperation to steal Techs, knowing that she would probably be caught and killed sooner or later. :(

Unprovoked DOW against Ethiopia, while playing as Carthage. Ethiopia never DOWed me. I last played Ethiopia and never was the aggressor. But this game I was well-positioned for domination, so I did.

I always feel a little bad when I starve the population of a city so they can more quickly build a wonder that will forever stand as a monument to my glory.

The end result makes it worth being cruel though:

A recent exercise in overkill made me rethink my strategem. Maybe I get way too personal sometimes...

That would be alright if she didn't...

So much for Rome and Byzantium. Ashes to ashes.

But I did say overkill - and I mean it.

They never learn not to attack a nuclear power, but sometimes I just feel quite bad doing that, y'know?

I do that too, although almost always with a captured worker, which strikes me as even more cruel.

I also used to get a lot of AI cities in a treaty just to watch them all burn the next turn. I wouldn't even settle the area so the same AI would eventually rebuild them.

me and my friend were playing online and he moved all of his troops away from his lands to attack the Netherlands. So I took my giant navy and hit Carthage with three A-bombs and took it in one turn. All his cities were coastal so my navy took most of his main cities before his troops even got back from the surprisingly numerically superior Dutch. We were on skype and the whole time he was yelling at me while I laughed maniacally.

This is why I NEVER build all my cities on the coast. I always have one or two inland, especially the Capital.

Another reason I feel guilty is if I attack a nice Nation completely unprovoked. I`m always thinking, `I`m doing wrong and he`s right to hate me.`
