Yes indeed.
Thanks for pointing that out. :goodjob:
Can I have an extra point for that? :mischief:

I'll have an answer sheet to you tmrw or so, you can just stick all the bonus points on that. Yes I think that would be best :D.

A most excellent quiz my friend! :goodjob: You have superceded both me and your own previous efforts! I know quite a lot of the answers (I think) and I will definitely submit. I look forward to it!

You also need to submit to the Researchable PM Quiz.
Yes sir! I swore to myself I would submit on time but I don't think I know anything off the bat.

Yes I know. If only my wife and imaginary dog (it would be much worse if it was the other way round, wouldn't it) did not occupy so much of my time. But I will have a look at it.

Yes you can. Or not. You know what? I think not. :p

"I see a beard and a mantel, but no philosopher" - so far, at least...

First update: two good submissions already,
jeriko one with 25, even answering correctly nr. 11 :goodjob:
while Ram scored a decent 15, profiting heavily on his scholarly knowledge of mythology. Besides, as can be seen above, he has threatened to return. But so far jeriko one is :king:

Thanks my friend. You are a bit too generous I think, but that's OK, just continue that way!
And yes, of course you must submit.

Yes sir! I swore to myself I would submit on time but I don't think I know anything off the bat.
Oh, so that was to you. AM I silly. However I might submit anyway when i have had a look.

What!!! I'm not winning???!!!

*Reaches for his standard and automatic "This Quiz is too damn Eurocentric!" accusation. :gripe:*

j/k

Newsflash:
Sydhe moves into second place with 16.
By the way, I am pleased to see that you guys know Norse mythology that well. :goodjob:

I am checking out for the evening, but I wouldn't mind waking up and finding my PM-box clogged.

Well, I think I'd only get four for this one! The knowledge of people here never ceases to amaze me.
I think I could say the same about your knowledge, sir. :)
No new submissions, but sydhe cracked the bonus question :goodjob: , moving up to 19.

Adler17 just submitted and moves into 3rd place with 18.
I must confess i am a bit surprised that no military history buff has managed to answer nr.4 though.

Even though I'm no military history expert as such, I think I know the answer to that one.

Well, you probably know more than me, my conservative estimate is that there is at least 200 people here that know more military history than I do.

You can count me out of that 200  I read plenty of history but the military stuff mostly bores me. Far more significant elements in history than just battles.

Well, isn't there somebody with a username and avatar strikingly resembling yours that has been flying high on the military pic thread recently?
I agree totally with the last sentence anyway. :goodjob:

Yes, one must humour those who believe that battles are the be all and end all in history. ;)

Whilst we're going a bit OT: Personally I find the economic situations, internal balances of power, the global trade situation, the flow of concepts and the methods utilised to bring those men to battle in the first place far more interesting.

Which is why I myself concentrated on social- and labour history...

A new submission. thetrooper scores 10. But he is famous for his staying abilities and might easily climb on the scoreboard later.
And still nobody has been able to reveal the identity of the gentlemen in #4 and 12... :mischief:

And Till joins the fun with 14.
So the scoreboard so far is:

jeriko one 25
sydhe 19
Adler17 18
Rambuchan 15
Till 14
thetrooper 10

EDIT: Till just submitted again, scoring another point to reach 14 and biting Ram in his heels.
