While I would like the option, I won't just go away and mutter just 'cause of the lack of it.

As for floppa's radical (as normal) suggestion, well, that would make the forum pages a tad too textual for me. Some graphics on the sideline can be nice.

I emailed TF and he said that he is planning to add some more avatrs to the sites collection but no custom ones

He also said that FavouredFlights may be included

I don't think I'd give up my oddball pentagonal thingy. It's as good as a custom avatar, because it's so... odd... ugly... strange... that no one else wants it. It suits me.

You're right, switch. You're the only "oddball pentagonal thingy" I've seen here. (At least on the forums I visit.) It's as good as a custom avatar.

For me, I'll have to see what the added avatars look like. There's always a chance I'll change.

I like the idea behind custom avatars because it helps me quickly identify the poster instead of having to read the persons name. I have to keep changing my avatar b/c first UnkSol took my orc then someother guy took my hill giant. Hopefully no one takes me "Broken backed Giant pulling a giant glowing dildo out of his butt" avatar.
