Cynicism

All of you guys do not know and badly interpret what cynicism is!

Cynicism is something of a perception of believing people do good for only selfish ulterior motives.

It is and can be a doctrinal tool stating that in politics, people who are image-makers,conduct ruthless and shrew tactics of exploiting others to fight amongst themselves by way of chicanery and gossiping for inorder to position themselves as an arbiter of conflict. This practical pessimisism in turn reinforce the person using the out-look of a cynic for postioning themselves by establishing the position as being not self-interested in any motives to obtain power by political means.

I was crazy cynical as a teenager. I'm still somewhat, but much less. I want to get a little bit of enjoyment out of life, so I try to be less hateful toward it. It's worked somewhat.

The trick is to enjoy your cynicism. If it's fun, it's fun, if you take it too seriously than yeah, it sucks.

That's how I feel about life.

I'm very cynical when it comes to dating.

That's pretty much the definition I've been working with.

But is cynicism right or wrong on how to percieve human behavior in a practical manner?

cyn·i·cal
Pronunciation[sin-i-kuhl]
–adjective
1. like or characteristic of a cynic; distrusting or disparaging the motives of others.
2. showing contempt for accepted standards of honesty or morality by one's actions, esp. by actions that exploit the scruples of others.
3. bitterly or sneeringly distrustful, contemptuous, or pessimistic.
aye, this sounds like me. :/

I don't think cynicism is necessary in most cases since human charity can be unselfish in the sense that it make the person feels good in doing good deeds for others.Cynicism can be counter-productive and irrational since it is hard to really know another's state-of-mind when conducting the behaviors of "good deed."

Of course it is unwise to say that we can know the motives of other's state-of-mind being sincere when they are conducting the behavior of "good deeds" as well.I guess the only way to really know is to observe a series of more behaviors of suppose "good deeds" that later on, a particular observation infer that a behavior that characterize as being not for the purpose of a "good deed" can connote that it was indeed a selfish one because the consistencies is not there.

I'll let you guys guess.

Yeah, I tend to be pretty cynical if I'm thinking something over, but spur-of-the-moment, I act pretty much normal.*

* By society's standards.

Like I said, cynicism is when you feel bad about the true nature of things, but you get over that when you wonder whats there to feel bad about.

What is it if you don't feel bad about the true nature of things, then?

Wisdom!

(or ignorance...)
