UN is working on the global settlement. Little nukes here or there will not change much , nobody has SDI and IBCMs can touch down in any city with impunity right now. So we are worried with a big picture, not local tactical nuke redeployments.

I shall quote myself:

When asked about the recent highly publicized moves of nuclear warheads into high stress areas, Putin said, “While we do not condone the use of nuclear weapons, the fact remains that they are a strong reminder of Russia’s power and military backing of the new nations of the Protectorate. We have no plans to use these weapons, however I believe they will act a necessary reminder in these areas of who is in charge and that our wishes should be respected.”

Whenever I play this mod or any mod for that matter in single player it randomly crashes and displays 'Windows is searching for a solution' And I'm worried it'll happen with this game eventually, is there any solutions or something to reduce the frequency of crashes?I'm using windows 7 64-bit.

What kind of Crash are we talking about? Is it Graphics or Memory or heat related? Is this a Laptop or a Desktop unit?

There are many things you can do, here are a few common things I can provide detail if needed

1 Go to "Options/Setting of programs that are always running, some programs or software runs and/or turns on when Windows starts up. Some of this like Camera software for example is setup for ease of access. There is an easy way to see what's running on your PC.

2 In Civ4 BTS go to the game's "Options" and lower the Graphics Setting

3 Defragment your Harddrive

there are many more things we just need to narrow down a few things. Also you pointed out this occurs with Mods, does it crash under standard Huge Map Games? If this is exclusive to Modded Scenarios I suggest reinstall the game from scratch. Be careful to protect and backup things.

I think it's a memory problem.It's a desktop.I'll attach the dxdiag

1.There's no additional programs running

2.I will do that same for 3

I don't recall it crashing at all with vanilla bts

I tried reinstalling the game didn't help.

South Africa claimed the lonely icy Kerguelen Island in the South Indian Ocean. It may come handy one day!

Ok well your PC is plenty capable and from how you answered all of this you are fairly handy with its workings
If Defragging doesn't help I have 2 suggestions

1) reinstalling the game didn't help but was the mod portion deleted and redownloaded and reinstalled? What Is normal is you copy or move all of those downloaded mods and unintal the game and then reinstall the game. But sometimes there are a few files left in the original installation location to help the installation remember "Preferences".

All I'm saying is is it just takes one file to keep you messed up. In my installation I am warned of an unsupported voice capture Device selected But I de not have such a Device connected.

2) try options regarding system properties

People could post about the land they are claiming. It will keep us aware that house rule about one tile per turn per team is actually honored and not violated by mistake -- its virtually impossible to enforce it without gentleman conduct by all players. Norway (Others) claimed her actual RL tile in the far North of NW Scandinavia coastline. We are very upset with EU claiming the Fort tile, which was supposed to represent Narvik, grr!

I'm not sure I grasp this well (taking territory) enough and by the time I do a player(s) could have been taking advantage of this feature for some time

That's why I asked at post 72 and how Tigranes explained at post 74.

So go get your free island somewhere and plant a flag.

Eclipse, to get a feel for this feature simply pull one of your African units into neutral Sahara desert tile and claim it. Next turn you will see the results, quite simple actually...

I notice this turn many players changed Civics. I hope paying this turn isn't a waste because players must replay turns.

Thank you so much for bringing this up, I rechecked the logs -- and looks there is only one violation. kiwitt's EU has adopted Professional Army :nono:

This is not a VERY critical situation, so as a host I would just ask kiwitt to switch back to Standing Army at the first possibility (in 4-5 turns). If this will cause one turn of Anarchy -- that will be sufficient compensation, if not (GA) 4-5 turns will not change much for EU.

@ ALL: Guys, this game involves lots of people and lots of time invested on part of all the players every single turn. Please avoid breaking house rules and be attentive, as a courtesy to other players. Replays will be reserved for for very serious situations, or when the majority absolutely insists on the replay.
