Seeing as Rising Sun just got updated, I thought I might as well do something completely different... in this case, Terry Pratchett civs. For now, I've only released Ankh-Morpork, but I have plans for quite a few others...

Vetinari - Ankh-Morpork

UA: Nil Mortifi Sine Lucre: Purchasing items in Cities requires 25% less Gold.
UU: Watchman: Replaces the Crossbowman. Costs 25% less Production. 10% combat bonus in friendly lands.
UB: Guild: Replaces the University. +33% Science, +25% Gold. Does not confer any benefits on jungle tiles. Available at, erm, Guilds.

Planned civs:

One Sun Mirror - Agatean Empire
UA: Counterweight Continent: +1 Gold and Food from Mines.
UU: Water Buffalo Holder: Replaces the Worker. Slightly faster work rate. Costs no maintenance.
UB: Yatai Market: Replaces the Market. +1 Food from Bonus Resources worked by the City.

Ossory - Omnia
UA: Not yet thought up, probably going to be something to do with Faith
UU: Exquisitor: Replaces the Inquisitor. Can be bought with Production or Gold instead of Faith upon discovering Theology. Omnia's religion does not need to be enhanced.
UI: Citadel Temple: +2 Faith. Can only be built on desert hills. (Omnia has a desert start bias)

I'm also thinking of doing Fourecks, Uberwald, and Klatch. Any ideas are appreciated.

I've got some stuff for Klatch, if you want...

Klatch (Seriph Creosote)
Start Bias: Desert
UA: Fifteen Words For Assassination: Coups are twice as likely to succeed and technologies take half as long to steal.
UU: D'reg Riders (Replaces Cavalry)
0.1% Combat Bonus per Desert tile controlled by Klatch.
UB: Soak (replaces Market)
+1 Gold, +25% Gold output, +2 Gold per incoming Trade Route. Specialist slot for both Great Merchant and Great Scientist.

Hmm... interesting. I like the concepts of all three uniques, but I don't know enough Lua (read: I don't know any) to mod the UA and UU. Anyways, I'm probably going to do Agatea and possibly Omnia before thinking about Klatch, so you don't need to hurry if you want to think up more easily moddable uniques...

0.1% per Desert tile is so low it's negligible. If you control 10 (which is a decent amount) the UU will have an increase of 1%, which is quite likely less than +1 Combat Strength. Even if you control 100 Desert tiles, you will increase the Combat Strength by 10%, which equates to +3 Combat Strength in the Cavalry's case.

Just my 2 cents. :)

@Homusubi I don't know much of Lua, but I can help you if you want.

Yeah, you're probably right. I didn't want it to be too OP, but I think there's room for improvement. How's this?

UU: D'regs
1% Combat Bonus for every Desert tile controlled by the unit's owner (we can't rule out a Militaristic City-state gifting them to someone else)

I think this might work well, especially with a Desert start bias. =]

Christ knows. I'm not a modder and I'm new to Civ, so~

I had the idea of giving Omnia a different ability depending on whether they've reformed or not, to show how different the country was before and after.

+20% bonus to attack in foreign lands without your religion before either reformation or discovery of theology, and afterwards they get a +1 science from religious buildings and +1 faith from libraries and universities.

Discovery of Theology would work better than Reformation, as the latter requires a) Lua and b) the Piety tree, which Omnia players might not want to pick (it would be advisable, considering it's probably going to be faith-based, but still)

Hey, cool. How about something like this for Überwald? I don't even know how feasible this is to mod, but they seem like such a great possible civ.

Lady Margolotta - Überwald
Start bias: Forest
UA: Meddling In Things Man Was Not Meant To Wot Of - Igors stationed in cities provide them with +15% Production of land units. All units gain 20% of their dealt damage back into health.
UU: Igor. Replaces Worker. Gains a Medic upgrade. If a unit dies on the same tile as the Igor, heal all surrounding units by 20.
UB: Don'tgonearthe Castle. Replaces Castle. Takes longer to build, but city gains "psychotropic weather" effect, randomly striking an enemy within city range for the city's combat strength each turn.
