Alright, things did not go so good vs Perc. I mistimed an important move and really cost us an arm and a leg. And then another misclick(posisbly bug) cost us to lose our super medic and a bunch of other highly promoted units, which got left out in the open and sank to the bottom of the sea. And then, we were also not even finished researching radio, while Perc already was multiple tech teirs above us and building stealth bombers IIRC. The war was also crippling us putting our econ into the red again. Also, Perc got the jump on us and launched much earlier than I anticipated so.....
So... we really got off to a bad start vs perc, but..... that was the bad news. And now.. for the worse news (just kidding), let's get to the good news shall we?
Good news is I ended up nerfing Perc pretty damn good despite the set-backs, due to the AI's utter stupidity in warfare. After I wiped him off his continent, I agreed to peace and got some gold out of the deal. I wanted to have some time to let my units COOL-DOWN and rebuild up forces for the final hit/blow. For a while I couldn't decided to hit Zara or Perc again next, but I think the way it's going right now I should hit perc again and take his other islands.
Anyhow, there were nukes exchanged on both sides, and we got nailed by a couple, but I hit him with over 10x as many, so we did good on that exchange

Actually, I think I stopped after our diplo hit is -40 for (the nukes alone). Sadly, Zara now is furious with us for YOU NUKED OUR FRIEND, which seems to have a bottomless negative cap. I'll have to watch out now on the other flank.
I have had the same game open in the other window for over 48 hours now and surprised it hasn't crashed. It is 1903 AD right now, and I need about 8% more land mass to get our conquest/domination. But it's still taking a LONG time per round, so bear with me guys.
